I've been gaming since the N64, must have been 8 or so when I started. I didn't really play much then, but I enjoyed stuff like Mario Kart and Yoshi's Story(those were some of my first games)My best memory was probably working through all the cups on Super Mario Strkers with my best friend:) I still play that game with him to this day, even though it was years ago when we started. Some of my worst memories come from frustrations with games like Fire Emblem. I would forget that my healer was in a vulnerable position, and she would die. Being taught by my brothers to never lose characters, I had to start the level over, which was aggravating to a young kid like me. But I kept coming back for more:)

Started about 10 years ago when i was 5. Best memory was when GTA:VC came out. The game was perfect imo and the worst day was when my PS2 broke...3 times.

Been gaming for 12 years, started with the NES.. Best memory: Well I always loved fridays when I was in elementary school, A family relative would come every friday with one of his consoles and we played until our heads started to hurt, how I loved those days.. Worst memory: When my GBA stopped working, I had so many great games and it hurt that I would never be able to play them (my dad refused to buy me another one since I was too careless)

Gaming since Commodore 64. Best memory=coming home from work and seeing NHL (the first on Genesis) in with my games as a birthday present. Worst=A friend beating me to the punch on an unopened 80 gig, backwards compatible PS3 on Craigslist for $375.

I've been gaming since i was 4, back in 1989 with the Atari 2500 that my uncle had.

My best memory it has to be either the first time i finish Super Mario Bros (because it was such a huge success for me), when i finish Zelda OoT or when i bought my Game Cube (because it was the first console i bought with my very own money)

The worst moment was when one of my little cousins threw my GC and the laser died. I was very upset and i even had some issues with my uncle because he didnt want to pay the repair or at least help me to pay, finally i have to pay myself the repair.

I've been a gamer since i was 4 (1991) when the NES was still riding high.

My best memory is actually playing the very first Tony Hawk Pro Skater game back in 1999, i loved that game and still do to this day.

My worst memory was in 2000 and watching my Dreamcast fall of the balcony of my apartment. I set it on the table on my balcony because i was moving some stuff and i tripped and the table flipped over and the Dreamcast flew 10 floors down and broke into pieces.

Started gaming back in Kindergarten... so like 1989. Best memory not about a game was getting a Genesis in like 90. And I got two games instead of one... and one of them was really violent (Sonic and Streets of Rage). Man, i've played both of those games so much. The awesome thing was that I still loved my NES. I don't remember even asking for a Genesis, but I got one. The awesome thing was that I opened up a game package first and was shellshocked like, "But I have a NES... wait a minute, this means that the big heavy box..." Best gaming memory was probably KOTOR or Conker's Bad Fur Day. Those were the first time I really got caught up in the story of a game. Conker was comedy with a depressing ending, and KOTOR was like a good movie. Worst... this gen. I feel like none of my taste have changed, I still buy games based off the same criteria and metrics... but i've never been so disappointed with my purchases before. I used to bat damn near 100. I've got twenty games this gen I can only recommend like 5... and they average score is like 8.5 so its not like i'm buying crap. I just enjoy very few games nowadays.

Wow you guys have some highly interesting tales here. Anyway I have been gaming since about 96 or 97 so thates about 11 or 12 years(never thought I played games so long) it all started when my step father surprised us with a playstion while we were at KB toys, couldn't wait too get home and pop in spyro 2 ripto's rage. Anyway my best moment was the same as the orginal poster, the day I got my console's XBOX(died) GAMECUBE XBOX360 PSP PS3(last system I bought) I played them till I couldn't open my eyes. My worst moments were when I played Madden 07 on my xbox and it froze turned the console back on and it showed an error I was pissed it never worked again. O and when I played fallout3 why couldn't they just let me continue after the freakin story was over?

fondest memory: realizing i could beat an entire game just by using barrelroll. :)

worst memory: realizing barrelroll were limited to just one game. :(

Been gaming for 16 years and started with NES but had an atari which my dad used to play.

Best Memory: getting a new console/handheld that I didn't buy myself from Genesis, SNES, 3DO, GB, DS, PS1, and so on. All current gen stuff I bought myself so paying up isn't that good of a memory

Bad: PS1 broke - got it repaired, PS3 got DRE - opened it up and fixed it myself.

Been gaming since as long as I can remember.

Best memory.

Before the internet became popular.

Worst memory.

Once the internet became popular. To many hackers, glitchers, trash talkers, cursing, slang and the whole lot of other bad things.

Games were alot more fun back then...

Truth_Hurts_U

Plenty of people still play games offline.

I don't know, maybe 17 years?
I can't really say, as I don't really remember. I'm just giving a number by saying I started at four.
I may have been playing before that, but 1992 would seem about right.

Funnily enough, my mom introduced me into gaming. =O

My first game would be what a lot of peoples first game was.
Super Mario Bros. on the NES.

Probably one of the only times we sat down and played games together.

Best/Worst memories?
I don't know....:|

19 years. Started back in 1990. First game played was Commander keen on the PC. Best memory i guess is either popping in Commander Keen into my PC and playing it for the first time. I love that game. 2nd best memory i guess would be popping in the original Half Life on the PC for the first time. Incredible game. Have a few others including Diablo 1/2, Baldurs Gate 1/2, Mario Bros (NES), and Unreal Tournament (original one on PC).

Worst memory? Idk, I've always been a PC gamer but i've enjoyed a decent amount of the other platforms (though i have owned very few other platforms other than PC) but i really do not enjoy the Wii. First time i played that i just could not believe what Nintendo did. Was terrible, IMO.
