some one told me xbox 360 version and pc version of graphic are almost sameno
pc is much better

PC version: User-created Content, better graphics, higher framerate (depending on hardware), superior controls, more immersive (depending on hardware), superior online...........
360 version: Sticky-Aim and Auto-Aim
No offense to lemmings, but I think you know what version you should get.
basically all pc games look better than console games, simply becuase they run at a much higher resolution. obviously 1600x1200 > 720p/1080pOMGWTFBBQzzz

i wasnt being specific about cod4, i was saying all pc games look better than the maximum resolutions consoles can do.
Of course CoD4 has better graphics since 360's graphics card is out of date.
But its pretty much agreed that the 360 version has better controls and surprisngly, better Online.

I thoguht the reviewers were too untill I tried both versions out for myself. But why am I surprised? Tactical shooters being superior on the Xbox360 has been a trend since it launched.

Calling any shooter on the 360 tactical is a little far-fetched. But I agree that a lot of multi-plat FPS games are best on 360. They were simply designed with the 360 in mind.

1. CoD4 is not a tactical shooter.
2. Gears of War, a tactical shooter, has been stated in the GS review of the PC version to be "is everything the 360 version was and more.".
Actually PC version has 50! players online vs the 16 on 360. :)catlin_czirr
That's cool and all but that's way too many. If you've played Call of Duty 4, you'll know that the maps are tiny. Very tiny. 16 players is too chaotic to be fun, let alone 50. Even on 8 player FFA matches, I get spawnkilled on numerous occasions.
to be honest i have it for PC and it doesn't seem very well optomised.
it runs at 60 fps (fraps) on my comp but it has a stutter to it like no other pc game i have.
I have a Core 2 duo 2.5ghz X1950PRO with 2Gb ram so it's not my rig

hahahahahahahaha what tactical shooters? :D pretty much the only game that was actually a tactical shooter on the PC was an arcade shooter on the 360, and most people liked it more because it wasn't as tactical. and r6:v definitely straddles the line between arcade.[QUOTE="catlin_czirr"]Actually PC version has 50! players online vs the 16 on 360. :)GodLovesDead

Hey don't knock it till you have tried it,50 players+mod support+dedicated servers+FREE online play+better graphics+most precise controls = Best version.
EDIT: I have both versions sitting right here in my room, and I don't even touch the 360 version.

You don't have to play with 50. You can play with a limit of 8 / 16 / 24/ 32 / 64. That means you can have alot more variety in online in CoD4.

I have tried it. I've tried it on the 360, PS3, and PC. More precise controls isn't a valid point because that doesn't make the game better. The controller is accurate enough and has force feedback which actually adds a lot to the game. The graphics definitely are better on the PC, but Call of Duty 4, like Saving Private Ryan, should only be played/watched on a big screen. The differences aren't significant and I like how Call of Duty is locked at 60 fps. It's pretty optimized on the PC, but the FPS is variable so they is hitches.
If you don't have a decent setup for your 360, then the PC version is great. But the gameplay is very "consolized" and arcade-like. It better suits the 360 and better suits larger TVs. There are much better games to spend your money on if you want a PC game. I recommend Stalker or The Witcher.

You don't issue commands. Infact, HL2 is more tactical than Call of Duty 4 because can issue minor commands towards the end if I remember correctly. You follow the AI, the AI doesn't follow you.

I'd hardly call my PC portable, and once again, I don't think me or anyone else would move their PC around just to play CoD4. You can hook a PC up to an HDTV, but HDTVs aren't capable of interpretting VGA resolutions as well as other forms of media, and you may not be able to get 1080p. My point is that it's not convenient enough to be done on a casual scale. Technically, you can pretty much do anything on the PC. But that's the difference between consoles and PCs. Console have limited functionality, but they are instant. PC's have endless functionality, but require time (sometimes a little bit, sometimes a lot).
I'd also like to add the PC is missing prestige mode if I didn't already say so.

VGA? Graphics cards don't even output VGA natively anymore. They all useDVI or HDMI so they can conform to the same exact standards of HDTV resolutions.A 360 is very portable.
