I hear alot of debate and arguments on system wars about which console costs the most and blah de blah.

Infact a memorabe mention goes to a topic made by blackbond, even going as far to compare power comsumption.

But i ask you today, how much has each console cost you, in total.

not including games bought seperately.

i got a 360 premium with an extra controller and PGR3 for 400 euro i think. this was a couple of years ago.

i then needed to get the wireless adapter (wired network around my house is just not practical): 90 euro.

i dont use xbox live gold.

so 490 euro in total for my 360.

PS3:

500 euro for the 60GB model with 2 games (resistance and RR7)

25 euro for a hdmi cable.

so 525 euro for my PS3.

Wii:

260 euro for the wii with wiisports.

40 euro for a classic controller.

300 euro total.

Scottie what are you going to do now the 08 Football manager (ZOMG with 3D match engine!!!) is only on PC?

As for next gen gaming I dread to think, I won't put an answer just in case the missus should look at my post history lmao

My 360 cost around £310 and 2 years of XBL adds it up to £390. The wi-fi adapter was a gift, otherwise it would be a whopping £450. My PS3 cost £350 with another £12 for the HDMI cable. Roughtly £555 on disc games and £150 on downloadable games.

Trinidad! it's a 6 dollar conversion rate! But the retail stores here go for some insane profit margin. I mean I understand the shipping costs and what not but I don't understand how that amounts up to double the price of the US! So I dunno lol!

Food and clothes are cheaper though. Especially food.
