How much will the next gen consoles cost?

Am I the only one tired of this industry holding back power and features in the name of cheap and then doing small upgrades every 5 and charging 200 to 300 bucks! I am sick of shelling out 300 bucks every 5 years for a system! I don't mind 400 to 500 buck systems if it means they will be highend and last me longer than 5 years, if the industry keeps assuming I should shell out 300 bucks every 5 years I won't do it!

I also won't limit the industry by forcing them into a 300 buck range, that is why they limit the power, to keep it cheap. Holding back power, MS and Sony are the first to say NO and make a high end system! But casuals and sheep assume hardcores are not allowed to have highend and we should all get a PC, if we want to or not.
