how much would a high end pc cost? just wondering.

you can build a comp yourself for around 1k that will run mostly anything.

the kind of computer that you can build for 1k would not be considered high end by me. i would consider it medium end. a high end computer should have ateast 4gb of ram, a quadcore processor, 8800 something graphics card, youd need a 22 or so inch screen, and compatible mother board, powersupply, to support it. it would cost a good 1600 if you bought the parts really cheap.
and btw this is by no means a superhigh end pc, that would need 8 cores, 8gb, 8800 ultra...

High-end to me is what ever runs games at high settings. All that over-priced crap is overkill and not necessary to run games at high settings.
