I agree for the most part, but as always, you guys here love to exagerate the facts! PS4 does seem to be more powerful and more focused on core gaming, true, but Xbox One is not anywhere as bad as people here make it sound. As far as i know, Xbox One is still 8+ times more powerful than 360 and PS3 and, just like PS4, seems to be getting full third party support.

You are completely missing the point....
Microsoft is setting up this line "With low physica sales and high digital sales we understand gaming is changing and you as gamers want all digital products!"
THAT is the way this is moving... look at the used games policy they are forcing...
THERE ARE NO USED GAMES!! What the hell is the point of buying a physical copy if the copy does NOTHING? That is what they want us to think.... WHY? SO they can contine forward with "always online" and nickel and diming us to death. Microsoft is trying to back the gaming industry into a corner... they are showing the GAMERS what they really think of them by going so casual and chasing the quick buck the Wii made.
If Microsoft ruins the game industry for all of us they could give a shit less... By supporting them now you are playing into their scheme... you need to look at the bigger picture. The day ALL gaming ges all digital, always online, etc. is the day I am done...
like I said, supporting THIS crap now will solidify this crap as an industry standard... we have the chance now to prevent this from happening.

Again, i agree with most of what you just said, that's why i won't support MS, next gen. Sony's strategy seems to be alot more gamer/developper friendly, this time around.
That said, the scenario is not as dramatic as you are making it sound. Xbox One is still a good all in one system, for those who care. It will have tons of third party games aswell, some great core exclusives, a reliable internet service, an awesome controller, etc.....and on top of that, we all know competition is a good thing.
