Never got a Wii and I'm glad I didn't.

Not even an announced new LoZ, if there was one, with motion wiggle waggle controls can convince me to buy a Wii. And I love the LoZ franchise.

Its all about opinions and peoples thoughts about the games/consoles. Its a individual coise gamers make you know.

Sounds like your saying the 360 is a system for shooters only? I guess I am the kind of person that doesn't like ports of older games being priced at $50 with no real change, and 3rd party titles turning out worse on the Wii. I guess I am also the kind of person that doesn't like PS2 ports of games that should at least look like GC games. I guess I am also kind of like the person that would rather not use friend codes to play online.

In the end the best games are going to be made for reasons because they are interested in a goal beyond money. I don't see selling about 360K as good when the user base is 35 Million. SuperMario Galaxy just on day one in the USA sold 635K. Wario Ware also walked all over No more Heroes selling 2 Million copies, yet the game could be beaten in one day.

Well it isn't up to you to decide. If he thought it was enough to warrant a sequel then it is kudos to him. I was disappointed that it sold so low but I can almost guarantee the sequel will have higher sales. But honestly, Ubisoft did a crap job of advertising.

I own a 360 and Ps3 and I can easily say the PS3 sucks, due to it's lack of games. I also use to be a Ps2 only gamer and I can easily admit the Ps3 sucks when compared to the 360. Heck the N64 puts the GC and Wii to shame if you ask me.

Yeah gamecube games are pretty good, my birthday is coming up though. So I'll finally be getting new games (De Blob, Wario land, and Animal Crossing). Along with Banjo for the 360.

I have a Wii, but I dont play it no were near as much as my playstation 3...i sort of regret getting the console, i feel like i wasted my money on it. Its sometimes fun, but I would rather spend time on my playstation 3

But what really annoys me is that, here in Aus, the wii is SOOOO advertised, and the playstation 3 and Xbox 360 arent at all really... ive seen a couple for fable 2, but thats about it! SO MANY PEOPLE HAVE THEM!!!!

it came a year in advance of the wii giving people ample amount of time to save for it , but you know what,, these thread fails

lets look at what wii has,

split screen play that compliments online play,

not online play that wipes out split screen , and how can you call the majority of 3rd party titles aaa truth is their just over hyped, period i havent played a single game this gen besides saints row 1/2 and dead rising that deserved thier 8-9s in fact, the majority of wii games are under rated here and every where you go.

quantum of solace is a good example of a multiplat thats better on wii then other plats ,as the other plats lack split screen which has been the road laid since goldeneye and if your gonna release a succesor to all the bond games you must include this for it to be as good ,

and are you nuts, i rather pay 29-49 for a good game then 60 a shot for fps after fps,

im sorry take geow 2 resistance 2 little big planet re5 and all the others , and throw em out , because right now, these are just averge fps or platformers, which doesnt deserve theior scores ,

just liek the majority of 360 games and ps3 games they lack split screen , paying 50 a year just to play multiplayer is useless, and for those without 300-600 for a ps3 would suffer lol ,

no console this gen has lived up to their expectations, 360 was plagued with defective units, still is,

the ps3 lacks the software exclusivity , that is required for almost any one welling to lay 600 on the table for somthing thatll only last 4-5 years,

if not less

the wii , although in my opinion , and by facts, is the only true platform of this gen as it has a strong variety of games to play, regardles of thier rating half the stuff is under rated to begin with,

so its not a fair comparision ,

for any of the three platforms,

gc vs ps2 was a good comparision because it had no online and lacked sales,

also lacked 3rd partysuport

but the wii ps3 360 is not,

they all offer their own take on gaming 360 aims for online and other stufff fps related, ps3 is trying to live up the tree that ps2 buit and wii is just totally different, you cant compare any of the 3 , sure you can with ps3 360 graphic wise but in other ways you most certainly can not,

in my book wii has a advantge no matter what, ps3 has to offer and 360 has its advantaes to ,

ps3 is just sittin low,

theres nothin different i can do with a ps3 besides tha blu ray, that i cant do on ps2 or any other plattform today including pc,

Im very HAPPY! :D Playing Manhunt 2 right now, it came out this week over here :P So fare i love it, its my kind of game...

My xbox gets some playtime too, when i play Space Chimps, wish is a decent game, waiting for the new Silent Hill game tough....

I have to say, I gave it a chance, had it since day one in the UK. I hardly use it. I can't defend it any more.

The experience just feels shallow.

There is no reason for so many areas to be cut. Bad midi sound quality is continually pulled up in reviews. I wouldn't mind the graphics if it could at least handle better textures and some form of AA.

How is the graphics not even as good as the Xbox? Nintendo held the Wii back to be easily compatible with the GC games, what a waste.

Games like Endless Ocean needs at least Xbox quality graphics and sound to pull off the basic atmosphere that was intended.

Music games are a waste with bad sound.

Nintendo really limited themselves with this hardware.

It is comparable to the PS3 and 360, because it is supposed to provide me hours of gaming entertainment, just like other consoles. I don't need it to be on the same hardware level, the Xbox provided me with many hours of gameplay as did the PS2 to other people, the GC and Wii does not.

Hardware isn't an excuse for bad games, a true gamer plays any games on old and new gaming machines. I still play Game Boy Games on my GBA SP and to be honest prefer them to GBA and DS games (maybe because I grew up playing GameBoy games, IDK).

I only have my self to blame though, after the useless GameCube, I bought a Wii. I guess I was just hoping for a glimmer of those N64 days.

But that's probably because I've had my Wii for just 6 months, so I still haven't finished all of the good games yet.
Please don't jump on me and tell me how I'm missing out on the awesome multiplats and exclusives from the PS3 and 360, because I already know that I am. I'm getting a 360 for Christmas (most likely) so I can catch up on what I've missed out on.
But yeah, it's not bad being a Wii-only owner at the moment.
I know I've been stubbern here in SW before, but I'll admit that the Wii probably isn't enough for a core gamers needs. :)

ive only got a wii at the moment as my 360 got RROD :( for the third time. So ive only got a Wii now for about 3 weeks not cool.

I got okami today which will pass some time. Also got a bunch i wanna play again like RE4 and paper mario...also theres a bunch on the VC i wanna get.

Super Smash bros Brawl didn't come out in the same day everywhere but if you put together the first day sales of all regions you get this:

Japan: 842k

America: 1.684 million

Europe: 311k

Total: 2.8 million
