I'd say life would be better, and people wouldn't be saying noob in real life which is annoying, also fail and epic fail.
There would probably be less fat people and people would actually go outside and learn stuff then sit inside and play games.
Game are fun but they ruin lives.
How would your life be without videos games I would not be the person I am today...games made fight the man!Jackal527You learned to "fight the man" through a hobby which involves you shoveling money into the pockets of massive multinational corporations, and will leave you continually doing so? I think you're the kind of "rebel" that those in power really don't mind much...

Ouch jerk well in case you didn't notice I forgot to put the lol at the end (I'm sorry if you took it serious) but hey I'm a big guy but i'm not like those that walk like penguins in the street those give me a bad name lol Oh yeah, I'm sure you're a beautiful and unique snowflake, not like those drones. Hey look, one of those posters you see a dozen of in every college dorm in North America. What a stroke of original genius on your part... Yeah, definitely not a "penguin" marching in file.

It's possible to do both dude.
You know those few seconds per day you sometimes experience while switching game disks? Like that, only all the time :P

That possibility is irrelevant to the many people who don't do both, making his point quite valid. Video games certainly don't help America's obesity problem.[QUOTE="N0d0"][QUOTE="gotdangit"]

You guys wouldn't be anti-social, overweight, and so much to say. Don't take it personnal though. At least there should be a time limit when playing games.

You know, people sit, play games and what exercise are they getting from that? Losing a calorie each hour moving fingers?

I agree...... I mean if I limited the amount of time I played games each week the money that I spent on school would have been well worth it, instead it was well wasted. Im talking about thousands of dollars here. You guys wouldn't be anti-social, overweight, and so much to say. Don't take it personnal though. At least there should be a time limit when playing games.

Heh, no kidding. Video game fans, concerning obesity, remind me of alcoholics who somehow believe it isn't hurting their liver. Video games don't have to make you fat, but for a *lot* of people, that's exactly what they do. Go figure, the guy who compared me to Jack Thompson for daring to suggest such blasphemy against the sacred hobby is a perfect example of the utter disillusionment and defensive insecurity of many video game fans. Take your hobby for what it is - like most hobbies, far from perfect. You guys wouldn't be anti-social, overweight, and so much to say. Don't take it personnal though. But back when I was really fat, I used to play and eat a lot while playing Gears, Halo 3, Resistance MP (while spectacting) Now I bet you there are a lot of people that do it too :P

Oh I didnt play games all day, i also did other things but video games played its role. It was just a combination of bad time management as well as procrastinating when it came to doing school work.

I learned long ago, if you're going to veg-out playing video games, don't drink alcohol, soda pop, or eat heavy foods. Most of the time when I do play video games I drink tea and munch on Saeurkraut. It's also good to keep some free weights around and do some weights/pushups/situps every time you beat a level/periodically - I actually have quite the two hour workout built around playing Civilization... I'm pushing 30 and I can still almost run the 40 in the same time I did when I played college ball. Video gaming doesn't have to be a huge detriment to your health, but it certainly is for a lot of people.[QUOTE="AdoringFan_"][QUOTE="Shafftehr"] That possibility is irrelevant to the many people who don't do both, making his point quite valid. Better question is how would life be without Television? EazyD91
excluding games right? If it were that, then nothing. Haven't watched my 47' 1080p HDTV in months :P

Those people would've probably allowed that to happen with something else, anyway. It's not the video games; it's the people. Anyway, my life would be... less exciting. I would probably watch movies more.I'd probably be doing alot better in school (not that I'm doing bad now) and I'd probably be more focused on other activities like basketball, which is second to video games now.
Sorry for keep saying this, but do you guys have a time limit when playing games?
AdoringFan_
Depends on the type of game. If I'm playing an online mutliplayer game I lose track of time and it could be anywhere between 2-5 hours. A single player game like an RPG, I spend about 2 hours for each session.
I usually play for about 2-3 hours a day. It really depends on the game I'm playing.Sorry for keep saying this, but do you guys have a time limit when playing games?

Yep, life would be bad.
Seriously, i think that videogames make me a better person, i mean, since i was a little kid, i was so antisocial, i might still be it, but thanks to VG i'm more open now, i remember back in the days of KOF 96, after a great match, i was like, good fight dude, and that got me a couple of friends there, withouth VG i'll probably would be way way more closed, also, i wouldn't have learned english on my own, i mean, how the hell would a kid who doesn't know english solved a RE puzzle, actually, life would be worst.
Im pretty sure life would ultimately be better for everyone without them in many ways. They are here though and Im not complaining.
