I'd say life would be better, and people wouldn't be saying noob in real life which is annoying, also fail and epic fail.
There would probably be less fat people and people would actually go outside and learn stuff then sit inside and play games.
Game are fun but they ruin lives.
Thanks for the optimism, bro. I can go to work feeling good about the world now. These topics always become filled with people needing to justify how they live to others. Funny to see gamers complain against their own hobby.
It's a hobby, which means if you aren't a gamer, you're something else. Why this hobby is filled with insecurity is beyond me.

Totally agree, but drugs are much worse. Drugs and games however is a match made in heaven. Also, you wouldn't get nerds like TC saying "without videos games I would not be the person I am today...games made fight the man! lol" The only people loling is everyone else, at you![QUOTE="N0d0"][QUOTE="gotdangit"]

Shafftehr
It's possible to do both dude.
That possibility is irrelevant to the many people who don't do both, making his point quite valid. Video games certainly don't help America's obesity problem.I tend to agree with this.^^^^...I do workout 5 days a week. BUT since getting into PC's in 99 and playing video games more even into my adult life, I cant help but feel I have gained at least 50lbs of fat from just sitting all the time playing games and being on my pc. I have 2 boys and they rarely go outside. Compare that to when I was a kid..I woke up and was gone all day and had to be called in for the night....Even though we had videogames back then, kids went outside 10x more then now days. AND BOY DO I MISS IT.....
Speaking as an oldfart...Play your games, but get outside and play with your friends. Ride bikes, climb trees, play tag, ball, skate..the whole deal cause one day...I PROMISS YOU...it will be gone..

If gamers embarrass you that much, then why are you here?virtually nothing would change for me. instead of playing video games, i would play/do something else in another hobby, or pick up a new thing to do. instead of wasting my time on garbage sites like gamespot, i would waste my time on other garbage sites. thats why tbh i just never really care about 'OMG THE GAEMING INDUSTRY IS DYING' or supporting 'good' (read: indiecred) developers over 'bad' (read: Activision) developers. if something about video games goes truly south, i can just drop it like the bad habit it is. i already dropped playing new pc gaming because of how nauseating steam and drm was getting. console gaming will be no more difficult to drop.
A lot better than it is now. I might have actually failed my exams due to my interest in video games. Sigh....
I would probably read a lot more, and have my goals set towards some really boring profession in terms of graduate studies.
