I think (Nintendo Revolution) which was the Wii's codename would be a great new name for it. They also need to include some actual hard drives into, making people buy external ones is stupid.
Kill off the tablet. Kill off the lower SKU. Relaunch at $250 / £175 with Pro controller and Mario 64 2 packed in.
Oh, they'll be coming. DKCR sold too well to not have a sequel and Kirby's Adventure Wii/Return to Dreamland did well too (especially in Japan). Also, where's my Donkey Kong and Kirby?

[QUOTE="TheWalkingGhost"][QUOTE="nintendoboy16"]Considering Nintendo wasn't financially struggling with the GameCube the way SEGA was with CD/32X/Saturn/Dreamcast, I doubt it. That being said, they NEEDED some sort of sales winning success though.KaszillaIf the Wii had failed, I wouldn't be surprised if Nintendo dropped out of the race. I don't think they could have survived two straight GC performances. The DS woulda saved them. How would the DS have saved their home console? The company yes, the home console no. Financially sound companies drop out of things all the time when they doubt there is profit.
1, MORE games with amazing visual styles like Wii U Zelda
2, USB rechargeable controller
3, More HDD around 250 - 320 GB
4, Make good use of the tablet in the right way
The best games on the console are going to be made with the tablet in mindPurpleMan5000Is that why Pikmin 3 allegedly controls best with Motion+?
First I would take Nintendos name off the console itself so people would be aware it's a company trying to provide quality.
an update to allow users to log in the console without the Gamepad and to use Miiverse without the gamepad just so they can sell the console without the gamepad so it can be cheaper.
Honestly I think that's the sole reason why the console is so expensive right now.
(inb4itwillbeaMASSIVEupdate, no it won't be, it just wouldn't be the intended experience.)

Without the tablet it will be ancient tech with no gimmick. Still a no buy.

Yeah, no kidding. I don't think Nintendo should make a move like that. It would just ruin all of their future offerings.better specs for that 350 price, try to do everything in my power to make third parties develop for it, change the name to Wii-2 instead of just U.

The gimmick hasn't a single game that uses it in a fashion that is groundbreaking or even needed. It would cost 1/3 the price of the tablet for the system to feature a followup to the Wii's remote. This would capture the attention of the mainstream and the imagination of gamers watching the E3 press events online. Nintendo has to wow people again-- the tablet is just making people say, "wow, that's too expensive for a current gen console." When Nintendo showed off the Wii remote; everyone knew exactly how it was supposed to work in games and knew in their minds exactly where the technology was going to be in ten years... except Nintendo has chosen not to do what everyone saw as the future (post Wii).[QUOTE="StrongBlackVine"][QUOTE="LegatoSkyheart"]

What happened to "get rid of the gimmicks." routine? lol.
What happened to the "If it gets Cheaper, I'll buy it" routine? lol
The Wii U needs a larger standard HDD.
The Wii U should have a better CPU & GPU
I have a Wii U, havent turned it on now in a couple months. Still happy to have one, as I know the games will come.

Seems to me you haven't played WiiU games that use the controller wellSeems to me you haven't played WiiU games that use the controller wellLastRambo341There is no game (as yet) that is built in entirety around a single new paradigm of control presented by the tablet that will change the way we play games going forward. The N64's analog stick applied to movement and camera control in all 3D games, but the WiiU doesn't have that new standard and it's clear that the only ones that will make that breakthrough are Nintendo. 100% of third party developers seem totally lost on how to create a product for this interface that excites people, or they are approaching it with the strategy of, "How can we get this port finished with the least amount of work?" Nintendo needs to demo the new first person Metroid at E3 using the tablet as one would use a head mounted display; able to turn 360 degrees and play the game soley upon the tablet screen. I would also suggest using the forward facing camera for head tracking to create the illusion of 3D. Nintendo has to create that clear format that not only shapes how games control on WiiU, but drives where the next console goes in design and control.
MORE POWAH!!!! Â If the wii u was released with true next gen hardware it would be flying off the shelves right now. Â Its not like the hardware wasn't available to nintendo. Â They dropped the ball when they had the PERFECT opportunity to sprint ahead of both Sony and MS in the new console generation.
Basically everything Nintendo has said already, then include a full virtual console with logical added consoles (everything wii had+Sega Saturn,Dreamcast, and Nintendo Game Cube). For me if they put phantasy star online of the GC online that alone would make me happy for good. I'd like to see some other games anounced like PSO2, and everything that is being missed with 3rd party not missed.
