That's one thing that really blows about steam.

You cant buy a game off the service and then uninstall steam and play the game.

I just re-bought Skyrim, I shall be occupied for the next couple of months :P

lol sales on xbl on old games mostly that are like what 2 99 at gamestop for the physical copy looking at r6  vegas how could that be a sale haha 

no one should ever bother with digital unless its xbla games  cause retail is always cheaper unless its like day 1  especally on ms  consoles,  i know nintendo has some of wiiu retail download games 5 bucks off the retail price but that dont matter any way cause its likely to go down for retail as soon as it ages .

but atleast you actually own the games compared to steam you dont need to have a second application installed like steam to run the games.

This thread just shows how bad the Sony fanboys are. I mean seriously the amount of hate when it is about Microsoft having a great sale. It is mind blowing that they can find reasons to hate on a sale that is up to 75% off of some games.

Here are the reasons why Xbox deals are pointless:-

1. Xbox 360 hard drives are limited and non-upgradeable, so people can't buy digital games for it.
2. Better platforms to get games for. Steam is the most attractive place for deals like this. PS3 also says hello.
3. It's Microsoft, you'll probably have to be Gold subscriber to get deals.

Also, I love the cow butthurt and damage control on this.  It's a F****** sale, no matter how you spin it, this is a good thing.

I count 15 three-five year old games on sale. Are they supposed to add dailies or something? Yeah guess so.
This first day is a bit of a bust. El Shaddai would have been of interest, but it's not available in my region.
