Sweet, I always had faith in Humanity! Humanity is out for PS5, PS4, PC, PS VR 1/2 and is a Day 1 game for PS Plus catalog. Will you be checking it out, SW? I definitely will
Looks great. I was really looking forward to playing it as I enjoyed their previous games like Rez, Luminous and Tetris Effect. I really like the creative, slightly weird, passion projects that come out of small studios like theirs.
It's just a shame that I'm a little too busy searching for Princess Zelda right now, but I'll definitely download it from the PS Plus catalog as soon as I'm done.
BTW, it's also a shame that even though IGN calls it a "modern take on Lemmings", it's not available on the hardware for modern Lems, haha.
Be a dog, save the humans 🚶🚶🚶

You know I played a lot of Lemmings as a kid, loved it a lot, a fond gaming memory...but I never asked myself "Where are all the Lemmings clones?" because honestly there's not a lot (or any, really?) games like that these days.
This is the game we didn't know we needed, I suppose. Will definitely check it out.

So do I. I wish major publishers would foster smaller studios, or make "pilot studios" within their larger ones solely to allow developers to express their creativity and develop one-off games that are low budget, low time requirement. You don't need a lot of money or staff or time to make a fun game. It might not be "Holy smokes AAA epic proportions" but it doesn't have to be.
hear someone talking about it on a podcast a couple weeks ago, sounds fun. will probably pick it up at some point, when i'm looking for something to play
Does look like a good time, I'll get to it eventually.
Zero chance of fitting it into the current slate lol
Is this available for Essential subscribers or do you have subscribe to the higher tiers? Could be a neat little game but not really going to up my subscription for it.
Wait, is this a Lemmings "clone"? If so kudos for Sony releasing something interesting for a change. Now I'm interested.
Just a couple of weeks ago I had an hurge to play og lemmings. Honestly it's a classic GOAT title that gets forgotten. First half of the 90s was incredible on Amiga and PC, so much creativity compared with consoles.

Well, unlike you, I didn't play Lemmings much as a kid for some reason (I preferred action platformers to puzzles.) But this one looks very intriguing, with stylized visuals and music, three-dimensional and complex level design, perspective shifting, environmental storytelling, trials and boss fights, user level creation and other neat fun ideas added like letting the player control a crowd-leading dog.
Yes, I agree with you that the major publishers should support these smaller titles, not only in development but also in marketing. In the case of Humanity, if Sony had not taken the marketing initiative with State of Play, and if IGN had not reviewed it, it would have been dismissed by many as "shovelware". I really like playing these small but creative games in between AAA releases that are a breath of fresh air.
I guess I'll give it a try, but it looks like a reskin of Lemmings. Can't we just get a new 3 Vikings game?
Sweet, we’re at 85 now
You buying this game? I thought it was a VR game or something, but it could've been mislabeled as such.
It’s available to PS Plus Extra people!
@Archangel3371: Knowing how many games you missed out on last gen on PS4, I'm surprised you wouldn't have PS Plus extra or premium instead of gamepass. But I believe it's not on the bottom tier, but could be wrong.
Anyone know why this game skipped Xbox? Seems like something that'd fit on gamepass well, except for the VR feature.
Notice how when Sony gets a title with a 9/10, its not the end of the world, the day goes as usual. When MS got their HIFIRush, all the lems went ape shit like it was a legendary title to remember for generations to come. This is what happens when you're starved for games.
Sad.
@joshrmeyer: Picked up about a dozen first party PS4 games dirt cheap before the PS5 came out so kind of already had a good amount that I wanted there.

🤣 another thing Lems do is pretend that 3rd party games aren’t available on other systems
@girlusocrazy: Trine is one of those franchises that I love the art and always think about getting into, but when I actually sit down to play lose interest fairly quickly. I do need to just play through the trilogy at some point.
I'll definitely give the game a fair chance, it did a lot better than I was expecting. Now I feel as though the game deserves me giving it a a shot to see if I agree.. lol.
@SolidGame_basic: I can feel your butt hurt over this game. Yes it's interesting. PSVR2 needs something to keep it from sinking.

Why would I be butt hurt over a game I’m playing lol.
Ya, let’s see what Sony has for us on Wednesday.
@SolidGame_basic: Pretty good game in VR. Only played about 6-7 levels though. There's a free casino game out you might wanna check out. It was actually really fun if you're into that. All avatars are real people with mics on.

Interesting. Yea I played through the prologue but not in VR yet. Seems addicting. As for upcoming VR games, have C-Smash preordered.
This game gets way deeper than I thought, it's well worth it
right?? only went through prologue and my brain was starting to get tired lol
