More realistic portrayal of the hunting world? Lol. Unless this game allows all online players to be rednecks who get drunk and shoot each other by accident...it is still just a lame revision of Duck Hunt.

I hunt and I'm what most would classify as a (wait for it, ugh) "scene dude". I'm the farthest thing from a "redneck".

Looks cool. I dont hunt in real life, but I do fish. I wish they'd make a decent fishing game for the current gen systems. I'd buy.carljohnson3456

Really, really lame man. Here is Duck Hunt and somehow it just doesn't seem the same. :lol:

How is it not the same. I've seen hunting games. Stand there, 100 animals walk right out in front of you, stop and sate, and you shoot them.

And no, I'm not an animal rights activist. I just don't understand people's fascination with shooting a buch in the head and think putting that head on a wall is a "trophy" to show off. I'm all in favour of eating and using what you actually do hunt, it is more the notion that hunting is less and less a "sport" and more and more a way for people to feel a false sense of empowerment.

So far I am liking this game.

I am really liking this game. I finally killed my first deer like 5 minutes ago after tracking for over a hour. I don't know how to put these graphics. In some ways I say they are better than Crysis, but in others, no. Like there are a lot more trees and plants, so it looks better that way. But the plants aren't as good looking as Crysis plants (not that they don't look good even though not as good as Crysis). I think that graphics as better than Oblivion though. I really feel like I am out in the woods hunting while playing this game. I can't get over if being free, yet a good game.

If I was to give just one bit of advice. Be sure to use your GPS a lot and actually in your hands a lot. This will help you when you hear a deer to pin point it a lot easier. About half my times was spent realizing just how important the GPS really is in this game. I started off just thinking it was to find my way back to camp, but I was wrong.

Free is a word you read a lot these days in pc gaming. Love this new trend :PFranko_3

Btw, what engine does it use?

The land mass you're on is actually pretty huge, it looks nice, and it runs great for me maxed out.

This is really show that only good graphic dont make a good game...
