HYPOTHETICAL: Which new sequel of these series would excite you the most?

I guess Zelda since none of those other series would really get me that hyped. Or maybe that's just my apathy talking.

Even tho Final Fantasy this generation suxoed out of thoes listed a NEW entry would probably excite me the most...as long is it's nothing like what's in the FFXIII universe or gameplay

Final Fantasy is a series that is routinely capable of actually feeling fresher and different from the previous game, because it's not tied to that game. I mean I didn't pick it because: Square and because ugh jrpgs. But otherwise Final Fantasy is the least franchise fatigue/played out/samey of the franchises listed here. The others are just nutless, Final Fantasy just has had a bad outing. jg4xchamp

I would have chosen it too but I don't trust Square anymore with that IP

None of those poll choices are Persona. I would pick Zelda out of those however

TLOZ- never much of a fan.

Uncharted- good stuff but we just had 2 games since 2011. Needs a rest.

Halo- All for it if they don't tease huge open alien worlds then force you down corridors most of the time like 4. And ditch that boring new enemy. I think the IP peaked with 3 though.

God of War- We just had one last month. Again, needs a rest for 4-5 years.

If FFXV-ersus XIII has open world, airship, towns, etc as rumoured then maybe.

We've had too much of each of these series for one generation. Give me Freedom Fighters 2 or Psi-Ops 2 over all of these.

maybe our definintions of "overwhelmingly negative" are different, though I'm pretty sure the reception for Skyward Sword and FFXIII were pretty split

Halo did get changes in Halo 4. Its just that the changes it did get didn't exactly please everyone.

I always get surprised by it. Its no annual kind of console series so it still retains some of its charm.

Overall though I think they all need a boost really.

Zelda, easily. The only other one that could get me excited, out of those, is Final Fantasy.

My answer to the poll is a Castlevania in the pre-Mercury Steam reboot (it's an alternate timeline)  and a  new Metroid. 

Something fresh with either of those series would be nice.

None of the above, just give me Demon's Souls 2.

For me a new Final Fantasy or Zelda would do the trick. I am waiting for E3 to see what square has to reveal what they were doing for the PS4. And I know a New zelda will come eventually, I personally don't think we will see a Wii-U zelda this year. Just the Wind Waker HD, which I'm also going to be getting day 1.

None of them would excite me, but if I had to pick one it would be the next Final Fantasy.  At least that series is completely random.  The next game could be amazing or it could be a monumental POS.

If I were to choose based on guaranteed quality, it would be Zelda.  At the very least it would be a solid game with plenty of content.

Out of those - TLoZ, obviously.

But it also depends how it will be like.

If they make a "Skyward Sword 2" - would still look and play good but a bit of a let-down.

If they make a "Majora's Mask 2" - yes, yes! M. Bison style :P

I chose Zelda. I mean, an HD Zelda does blow my mind but there wasn't much competition really. Yes, I'll love the next Uncharted game but part of me hopes the other Naughty Dog team is working on a new IP. Take a break from Uncharted.

Don't care for Halo nor Gears of War, after renting (and not finishing) God of War: Ascension, the series feels tired, and I'm afraid of what Final Fantasy will be like after seeing the crap Final Fantasy XIII/XIV are blegh.

Nothing there would excite me at this point to be honest. give me Beyond Good and Evil 2 please. I've been waiting on this game since it was announced but nothing concrete has been reported on this game to date. darn it. Shenmue 3 would also be awesome to get.verbalfilth
