Hyrule Warriors (Zelda + Dynasty Warriors) coming 2014

More zelda! More mario! Moar!

This looks laughable. People are already getting their excuses in but let's be honest, this looks awful. The acid test is how it would be received by a developer you'd never heard of and featuring characters you didn't know how would it be received? And you know the answer.

I like how all the people are saying it's not a main zelda game. Which does not change the face....

That it's on the Wii U. The "struggling" console.

Looks like shit. But got me thinking, an MMO set in the Zelda universe would be EPIC.

@Shottayouth13-: What universe? There's one village as a hub and about six dungeons, on every game. The tone differs a little from game to game, but apart from that, there is no universe.

As a DW fan I am severely hyped for this game. It looks so awesome. The only question is, how many playable characters? Zelda and Ganondorf are a given but theres gotta be more than that.

As a Zelda fan I must say that was painful to watch even if it isn't gonna a true Zelda title.

Lame visuals and shallow looking combat. Will check it out for 20$ maybe.

I think some people are expecting too much from games these days, hard to appreciate anything that way. Good ol-fashion fun seems to be really underrated here.

Day one 8) I really wasn't expecting this crossover but I'm not complaining. Not surprised at the reception here but most people here only like fancy graphics and nearly give every other game a pass when it comes to repetition.

I have to say that looks interesting, not bad or good, again Zelda fans are a bunch of snobs and the worse fanboys out there.

It looks amazing, but a budget title needs to be priced accordingly. It could be cheap since the incredible DKC:TF will be 50 not 60. Would pay $20.

Are you seriously defending Dynasty Warriors, a series more rehashed and repetitive than yearly sports games?

Than yearly sports game? Yeah...no. and I can defend it because I actually play the new DW games unlike 99% of the people here who just blindly hates on stuff that isn't cinematic. I find shit like Killzone or CoD to be more repetitive than Warrior games. I like the games, deal with it.

Also anyone who thinks this looks like a gamecube or PS2 game is just trolling. It's not graphic heavy at all but the maps are pretty dang big with a lot of units on screen.

You can like the game fine. I love FIFA even though it's a yearly rehash. Let;s not pretend they aren't rehashes tho. I played an early PS2 DW and quite enjoyed it. Then I played DW8 nearly a decade later and had the EXACT same experience. It's a horribly repetitive rehashed series. Definitely worse than COD. (Can't comment on Killzone, don't like and thus don't play them)

Hyrule Warriors looks pretty nice to me.

I do have a little hope for this:

1. It is actually being produced by Nintendo, and they tend to hold their IPs to high standards of polish.

2. There's hopefully a lot of development time left.

This game is being developed by tecmo koei and not by nintendo I would not expect this type of game to look impressive graphically since all the dynasty warroir games released on the PS3 look terrible in the graphics/visual department usually. This game may eventually get a visual/graphic update anyway. And how the hell is bayonetta 2 repetitive?It looks like it may be fun and the first Bayonetta was praised by game critics.

Looks horrible, enemies are just copy/pasted. I wish Nintendo would spend more time on games people actually want instead of spinoff rubbish.

The gameplay in the game was outstanding. Not sure what there was to learn... not let Sakamoto have full control of the dialogue?

This game looks okay. It's certainly another stopgap, probably similar to Link's Crossbow Training.

I want SMT x Fire Emblem more.

KOEI usually makes great games if you play them as intended... playing on very easy is just a button masher in the dynasty/samurai/orochi series... however, on more difficult settings intricate strategies must be enacted in order to succeed. On that note... I will likely buy this game.

I'm sorry but that game looks more like a generic fast pace hack and slash game rather then a Zelda game. Yeah I know this isn't a main Zelda game but a spinoff but still it doesn't look right.
