Hahaha, that's pretty good.Ibacai
:D Thanks.
No hard feelings. I don't hold anything against anyone. I just come on here to spend some time having virtual fights with my fellow gamers. Reminds me of the old BBS days.
I'm not a bad guy.

You'll notice I never hold a grudge against people on this board unless they are complete idiots.I have went back and forth for months now, and with all the rumors and the people I speak with at work, game stores, retail stores, etc. there is no way I am taking a chance on buying one of those junky 360's. I really wanted one because there are some great games for the system, and I really like the original XBOX, but my money will be going to either or both SONY and NINTENDO who have proven that make dependable hardware. It's too bad Microsoft makes such bad hardware. JDW_gamesIt is sad that you think so, the vast majority of 360s doesn't break down. (If that would be the case Microsoft would be sued over their haeds and forced to take the product out of retail) Many of the so called "broken 360s" are undoubtedly false rumors (of course there are broken 360s, but not THAT many). My advice to you is to go for the console with the GAMES that you want. BUt of course it is your decision, have fun with the PS3/Wii.

You realize most of the bad 360 reports on teh web are false claims by sony fanboys right?Illumination77You do realize how ridiculous that statement makes you appear?
Here is FACT for you ... I have NEVER had a Nintendo product break down on me. They make a great product. Another fact ... Why would Microsoft extend their warranty if there weren't any problems? It's obvious that the 360 has some problems. Again, my money is going to the PS3 and mabye a Wii. JDW_games
I bought one too and after a month I got the three lights of death, sent it to microsoft and got a new one. one week later it happened again. So I got that one repaired too and ebayed it for a ps3.
I mean the PS3 sucks, but hey its better than a system that dosent even work.
[QUOTE="Illumination77"]You realize most of the bad 360 reports on teh web are false claims by sony fanboys right?InsaneBasuraYou do realize how ridiculous that statement makes you appear? it dosn't. there were more defective owners than defective 360s. people refuse to read the manual so they break/over heat it. more over heat and damage the brick than the actual console. but over 50% of people that won multiple broken 360's never even owned a single 360. the good thing about imiganary 360s is you can by them with imiginary dollars so it's easy for them to get yet another one.
It depends a lot on the manufacture date. If you can get a 360 that was manufactured August or later, you'll probably have a better chance at having a good console.
I've also played the PS3 three times at my local Best Buy, and 2 out of 3 times I've tried it, it froze. I don't know any specifics on PS3 faulty hardware though.
[QUOTE="Truth_Hurts_U"][QUOTE="Ibacai"][QUOTE="Truth_Hurts_U"][QUOTE="asmallchild"] Your point?Ibacai
I win! :)
Now you're just being childish.I'm just having fun.

It's like chess you have to wait to make your move.
Yeah but in chess you don't take a Pawn and smack all the opposing pieces and say "I WIN". That's the first time I'm hearing of such a rule.i bought 6 launch units, all 6 are fine. my nephuews own most of them now, and even a 7 yearolds is still working. why would my luck be so good and others so bad? with the people that have multiple break downs i think if i had owned their system it would still be fine, if they had gotten mine they would still claim red lights and defective hardware. it's defective users, not defective consoles.It depends a lot on the manufacture date. You realize most of the bad 360 reports on teh web are false claims by sony fanboys right?Illumination77I saw two threads on the Xbox 360 forums. If this is the case, btw, why don't I read similar reports from the Xbox 360 fanboys on the PS3 forums?

i agree, i think it's gona be wii then ps3, then the 360 at the end, because the ps2 and the ps1 started just as bad or even worse than the ps3 did and it came out to be the top, but this time it's wii then ps3 but it's gona be close fight, i think the 360 is gona be knocked out to be known as last gen console along with little 12 yearolds are gona run xbl nowddldavedude ps1 and ps2 sold like crazy at launch and be on. because of the name brand and ps2 was backwards competitbale with ps1 and it was 300. with 600 I don't see the ps3 knocking down xbox360 and when halo 3 comes the ps3 is in trouble.
