I also got Alan Wake on STEAM, played through it a second time. It took me a long time to finally start Anachronox (GoG helped), and I enjoy the humor and the characters a lot.

Bought it and beat it tonight, dont worry PC gamers you arent missing much. This game had a ton of potential but its extremely shallow, almost no real story and the controls are clunky as hell (shooting/combat mostly). I was actually liking it a bit until I relized it just ended on a whim with no real ending. I know it was only 15 bucks for a 5 hour game which is pretty good but for a game thats been in production for 3+ years it should be better than this.

No problem. This is one of the reasons why I am looking forward to Last of Us, it seems like its going to be 10000x of what I am Alive could have been. Still for 15 bucks its not that bad, it entertained me for 5 hours at least, and if you're an achievement nerd you will spend a ton of time on survival difficulty.

Man, if it is, it will be the first game I'll play on a console (my wife's Xbox) -- will learn how to handle that damn controller no matter what! I look like a moron with that thing!

I tried the MS Xbox controller for windows once I got so pissed off that I l almost threw it through the window, haha. Then I gave it to my sister-in-law.

But now that I gave my wife an Xbox with Kinect plus 4 kinect games for Christmas (she wanted it) and she played for four days and never more, I will have to take a deep breath and get the hang of it. I hate seeing the Xbox being a mere piece of decoration... :evil:
