I Am Alive on PC September 13

I Am Alive is spreading to the PC. Ubisoft announced today the post-apocalyptic action game will be available for Windows PCs through the company's online store, Steam, and other digital retailers beginning September 13 for $15.

I Am Alive released for Xbox Live Arcade and PlayStation Network earlier this year, receiving a warm critical reception. According to Ubisoft, I Am Alive for the PC has been "enhanced" with higher resolutions and sharper graphics for those with capable rigs.

Additionally, I Am Alive for the PC boasts two modes not available for its console cousins. These are the Easy mode, which allows for infinite retries and a "smoother introduction" to the game; and Replay, which allows users to play levels again.GS

I'm pretty sure it came after the console versions because of piracy. They were waiting for it to end the sales momentum on consoles so that they could release it after for PC for more profits. If it was released at the same time for consoles and PC many would probably pirate it for PC and never buy it for consoles. This is my theory on why many games are delayed for PC when compared to console versions. Enjoy waiting hermits

The irony is, just a few days ago they released an article saying 95% of PC gamers are pirates, and now they're giving us a port of a game probably no one cares about anymore...

Try proving your theory, and explain why most multiplatform games are released simultaniously for all platforms...

Ubisoft is very much out of touch with PC community and gaming, so they're the problem, not piracy...

I have such a huge backlog of PC exclusive only games that there is no waiting involved. It's only a matter of being able to fit it in someday assuming that something better doesn't come along in the meantime and take all my time away. It's only consolites that are bothered by waiting because they have such a limited library to choose from.

Same here, always something to play, I usually play games a few months after the release, although if they're well done, I pay full price on them as soon as they arrive in the shops, to support the developers...

Thats where you're wrong. I dont hate PC gaming, in fact I play on PC as I already proved it. What I hate are hermits. As a PS fan it would be natural to hate on lems above anything else. But somehow hermits managed to make me hate them above anyone else.

You have to give it a chance. I played half an hour, didn't touch it for a month, then came back and finished it in one sitting.

There's very few similar games out there.

Nice to see the PC getting more support though I do not care for the game

That combo in a sentence alone is enough to put me off. They've crossed the line far too many times for me to care anymore about their PC games.

Makes sense, bigger casual audience on the PeeC, they'll need the leg up.
