that games series is overrated to me im buyin a ps3 for good games like devil may cry 4 and metal gear solid 4 i guarantee those will be the best games on a sony system this year
I cant wait to play this game. On Gamerankings.com it already has a 96% ratio. 96%!!! Just to put that in perspective, only three other games have ever got that ratio. Zelda OoT, Soul Calibur, and Metroid Prime

"Editor's Correction: After posting the review, we've gotten word from an SCEA representative that the game will support 480p on the PlayStation 3 but not 720p. Our error was due to crossed information and we're sorry for the confusion. We will report back once we have the final copy in our hands."

But the some of the game website right now have different scoring and is much stricter (or JUST say they have more pride on IM a tough guy reviewer kinda thing like Gamespot). But if still retains the 96% average score, then the game is really a unique beast that can devour even the next gen games!

You can get a $100 PS2 and play it?????? :shock: I already had my PS2 and I sold it with it's whole library, because it was either that or give it away (My game library and system wouldn't fit with my luggage, when I moved to this new state) . And I don't want to buy ANOTHER PS2 when I can save up some money and get a PS3, it will serve me well in the long haul :D

But it was either the PS2 or 360. (I didn't hesistate as much selling my NGC). By the way, I don't know when I will be getting the PS3 though. Since I want to buy an HDTV that goes up to 1080i and has HDMI. I found the one I would want, and it cost around 700 bucks. So the PS3 will have to wait a while.

Yeah, the game looks great. Actually I never played God of War. There's a whole bunch of PS2 games I missed out on that I'm starting to play through now.. no reason to be jealous though, as probably most of the people in this forum have a PS2 :)

MGS4 was... delayed. its release date is still listed as q4 2007
