I am officially hyping Clive Barker's Jericho!

I played the demo for this game last night and it is just flat out scary and at the same time it is easily one of the coolest experiences I have ever had in a game. On top of all that it runs beautifully completely maxed out and looks just stunning. In the game you can switch from teammate to teammate and use each ones special abilities to overcome obsticles in the map. Each teammate has very cool and different fighting techniques that make this a very very cool and unique experience. I HIGHLY recommend you play the demo because I am sure this will be an incredible hit when this game comes out. If you know anything about Clive Barker games you know that he can send chills of terror through your spine like noone else. AWESOME game for sure!

I played the PC demo, but I am sure a 360 and PS3 demo will be out soon. This game actually feels like AAA to me, but I'd love to hear some other people's opinions.

generic is such a over used work, surely any game that falls in to a genre, i.e FPS's by definition is generic.

I really dont like it at all... but im pissed that everyone else likes it :(

Wow. The Gamespot download manager requires an update every damn time I start it.

About to start the demo download.

Just played the demo. The powers are pretty cool and I like the idea behind it, but besides those the game feels kind of meh.

All the graphics seem to bleed together, then I'm thrown into dark tunnels and now I have a headache

All I can say is that there has been many Clive Barker comic books and they all have sucked.....And there are a ton of them

And may not be the same thing but all the comics looked great on the cover also it was not until you read them did you understand how much they sucked

I thought the demo was pretty awesome, I saw a few trailers but after the demo I'm adding it to buy list. I'm suprised, some of my computer parts are becoming slightly outdated, but it ran flawlessly on max in 1680x1050. Very well optimized.

I liked the switching between characters and stuff, I'm definatly hyping this at least 8.5 minimum.

Yeah its hard to find games as creepy as silent hill, but from what I've seen so far, its doing a good job, since with like even Doom 3 and stuff, it was never creepy, the horror came from like, stuff jumping out at you, silent hill was awesome cause of the amazing atmosphere it generated, and walking through the really tight dark halls and having some stuff appear almost out of no where in combination was pretty crazy in Jericho.

I was kind of put off by the latest Jericho videos. I'm a huge fan of Undying, and that game had a sort of classy approach to the shooter genre, whereas this game seems to be big guns, marine style characters and cheesy Hollywood dialogue.

I'll download the demo tonight and see if maybe it was just a bad impression, or if the game really has gone south.

Its pretty good. I think that I am going to buy it. My only complaint is that the controls where a little hard for me to get used to.smokeydabear076

Yeah, it was especially strange at least on PC, that right click was main fire and left was secondary, at least for me :P

I got the controls down in some decent time though, it was a little different then a typical FPS, and it had a bit of lost vikings feeling to it where differen't characters seem to accomplish differen't goals.

Yeah that is true. The controls were weird. I didn't try to remap them, but I'm sure you can if you want. I am sure that if I buy the game I will remap the controls the way I used to playing FPS's. The bullet cam from the sniper rifle is very cool. I love being able to turn the bullet in mid-air to hit multiple targets. Very sweet if you ask me.
