the tc asked what bugs us. as for me, it's nonsimulated cloth man.... stupid tinfoil shirts really bug me. ESPECIALLY if they have folds on them, particularly mercs 2, it had a real life picture of pants used to texture his jeans, which meant he always had the same stupid folds! really annoying....

Maybe it's just me, but trivial things such as this do not bother me in the least. As long as the game is fun and not completely broken, I tend to always not even pay much attention to things like pop-in or slight framerate dips.

It's Unreal Engine 3, a loading issue. Check out Mass Effect, Wolverine, anything that works on U3. After loading a level it takes a few seconds to pop everything to place.

i never saw texture popin in gears 2....there must be so many small instances of it that you must be looking for it.

I thought bioshock didnt use ue3

It uses a modified UE2.5 with UE3 features.
