[QUOTE="jg4xchamp"]"Battling a giant mech on screen gets across the hopelessness my character must be feeling" I think I'm going to go vomit. AAllxxjjnnI see absolutely nothing wrong with that statement jg4xchamp. I hope they really touch on the psychological horrors of war.
asking that from Guerilla is a tall order. they're too busy throwing in giant out-of-place robots, writing pointless dialogue, and setting up the inevitable sequel hook to worry about creating a mood that's remotely believable.

the badass looking helghan at the end dissapointed me.
he's suppose to be overpowered etc. why did he just sit there? lol. would be cool if they had some sort of supernatural powers to make them more menacing, they look super badass, without the execution.
really i'm just looking forward to the multiplayer, this single player looks like nothing special at all.
"Battling a giant mech on screen gets across the hopelessness my character must be feeling" I think I'm going to go vomit. jg4xchampWell realistically Champ, it can't be all that uplifting to fight a giant mech.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=geq9NNGCasY 9:30 - 15:00 go ahead and tell me that this doesn't look fun. Remember that you'll be able to play in split screen with a friend to. Also, you will have the option of playing with the move too.

I'm going to say this again. How many giant mother ****** in videogames have you played? You're telling me you felt a sense of hopelessness in a lot of those scenarios? because I didn't even feel that in Shadow of the Colossus, and that game conveys emotion much better than Killzone can do during its best segments.

That dude was acting pretty dramatic, maybe he gets really into games and every plot twist in MGS shook him to the core and scarred him for life.
[QUOTE="Blaze-Agent"][QUOTE="jg4xchamp"] Nah not really. But lord knows I say a few things and people get touchy jg4xchamp
nah. i dont get that sense at all. Just because some people might not be exposed to FPS gaming as much as you might have does not mean you have to come and rain on the parade of those that actually prefer these kinds of games. All that Elitists rubbish will never ever look good. Its kinda annoying really.:!:
Oh my christ. I didn't even say anything about the game being "another FPS this is why it sucks". My initial complaint was some douche on IGN saying "fighting a giant mech gave him a sense of the dread and hopelessness his character was feeling" I find that line to be massive hyperbole. We have faces god knows what kind of monstrous creatures/machines in god knows how many games. What the **** is different about this mech that suddenly he feels dread? If you're going to say something that douche(yes I think saying something like that is hella douchy) then you back that damn comment up with a reason why it gives you a nice sense of hopelessness and all that jazz. Personally I like shooters. I thought that comment was just absurd though. As for the "people on this forum part". he said it was just the shooter fans. I opened it up to the entire forum. Question you've never watched a trailer to something everyone is all hot about and thought "eww really?" because I call shens :]i get your point now, my apologies for the mistake. please do forgive:oops:

I respond to plot twists with anger now because of MGS 4. DAMN YOU KOJIM!

No...just no. Please keep your Mass Effect/Halo out of my Killzone. The Helghast aren't supposed to be super powerful for a reason: the devs wanted a more "realistic" theme to a sci-fi shooter (hardly any energy weapons, no crazy powers, etc). There are obviouse exceptions in the Killzone universe, but they fit the theme the game portrays, and don't look out of place.
