Many consolelites have failed,many ,many,many,many,many times at trying to bash and destroy the pc in every possible way.They loose in arguements such as:the debate of a cost of a pc,debating about a console exclusive etc.

But my fellow consoleites this negative is a pre definition diemensional proportion of aerodynamics for the word epic.The hermits will fall.Their beloved $293475 alien ware thingy computer will just be a house item for homework and writing a fail thread like this on gamespot.

Games are supposed to be freaking enjoyed with friends not everyone on system wars is 37 year old hermit who plays Star wars the old republic with strangers.Its actually fun to play with your friends and most people own a console.Only games like minecraft and WOW allow normal people to play together since you dont need a super powerful computer for it.Most people would play super street fighter arcade edition on console its more accesseble and people can come to ure house and play.Instead of useing 4 different keyboards,if you use 1 keyboard its hard as hell.Lol useing call of duty as an example time:who plays cod on pc?Ok a few 1000 do but thats it on the consoles its really fun having 20 people quickscoping on rust. on thepc it is a possiblitity that you can actully have another freind with a really powerful computer but that would be boring.In the current recession most people buy consoles since its cheaper and the computer is a household item.Console is better more people have it and its more fun to play with freinds rather then strangers online.

Games are supposed to be enjoyed with friends? Is that why most games are single player? Single being the keyword. And no, whatever negatives pc may have, it is the best choice for me as a single platform. It gives me the best experience.

3: anyone buys alienware is most likely a mac fan too for buying over priced products

4: gaming rig don't cost$958934. Everyone has a computer now days. You most likely spend $500ish on one anyways. Just right there should let you play games up to midish. What i don't understand is why people wont put little bit more into system that will LAST THEM YEARS and only you would need upgrade your gpu or cpu is when some powerful comes along like a new engine like unreal 4.

You did too. You can be of any age and play any game with as expensive or cheap pc as you want to with or without friends with or without a controller or a hdtv screen. The negative trashtalking that i see in this thread is the reason why pc gaming is not as powerfull as the consoles, but looking at consoles and how they turned to corperate money printers, i think its better to stay this way

No let me tell you what will REALLY happen. This generation of consoles is by far the longest. Games have turned very expensive to make and the developers afraid of the costs that come with the next onsoles. From now on, only AAA games will be funded and made for consoles. Pc will always surive as thanks to its indipendant development, kickstarters and pretty much the ability of making games without paying ms and sony or spending millions to develop on the limitations of crapboxes. Infact with the rise of tablets, it is possible that in the future, consoles lose alot of money and games will go to handhelds and platforms but pc will survive the same way it has today. Pc proudly dies from the 80s, back then consoles sold more and they still do today, but contray to popular belief pc has not lost gamers, infact it is far stronger than it was in 90s and early 2000s, but with the casualization of x360 and ps3 games, nongamers picked up on gaming and with all the advertizing gaming has gained, the console sales increased.

It's a solid point. Would be a lot better if consoles weren't running away from local multiplayer as fast as they can. Honestly, it's one of my biggest disappointments this gen.

Nothing beats playing on the couch with friends, but a lot of console games don't even do split-screen anymore. It really puzzles me. Actually, in this day and age, I don't understand why more pc games don't have local multiplayer; plenty of people use their HDTVs as a monitor.

Nice try but I've gamed with my friends in almost every multiplayer game I've played recently. TF2, BF3, DIRT 3. All using Steam Chat which is so easy to use.ocstew

Everyone likes different things, consoles offer somethings and PC gaming offers other things. For me I enjoy both, for others they love one or the other.
