I doubt Sony will lower the price again on the PS3 unless they strip the blu-ray player out (not going to happen) so they will most likely finish last this gen.

Sales will get better but its doubtful that it will ever catch up to the Wii or 360.

Sales numbers are the closest thing to the voice of the people that we have. The summer adaptors have spoken loud and clear as X360 outsold PS3 yet again, this time by a wider margin: 80,000 units. I dont see anything that can possibly turn the tables. If PS3 NEXT MONTH miraculously turns the tables and begins outselling the 360 by 80,000 units per month from here on out (anyone with half a brain knows this wont happen and the 360 will likely continue to outsell the PS3 for some time), it will take only 100 months for the PS3 to tie the 360. Thats 8 and a third years folks, this gen will be long over.
