I dont like KOTOR

Ive been playing it for a couple hours now and dont really like it much. How long is this game? Does it take a while to get into?

So far, im looking for the wookie Big Z or something for a chick called mission.

I dont like the combat, its pretty much watching what your characters will do. I hate the way the story is told. Id take cutscenes anyday over endless dialogue. Does this game pick up?

no it doesn't really pickup the flow of the game stays the same way if u dont like the start uw ont like the middle or the end cuz the flow is the same all the way through

i didnt like the game at all but i played it on the pc an felt more like an xbox game to me the interface felt weird for a pc user

ppl were tellin me how it was GOTY i spent 40 bux on it an i felt cheated out of my moneyan didnt buy the sequel

I wouldnt say I hate it but its not too appealing to me. If it was a short game, I would probably go ahead and complete it but from what Ive heard its like 50 hrs long, dont have time like that for a game I dont like too much.

I wouldnt say I hate it but its not too appealing to me. If it was a short game, I would probably go ahead and complete it but from what Ive heard its like 50 hrs long, dont have time like that for a game I dont like too much.

The combat isn't going to get much better, but cooler things start happening in a few more hours.

If you're bored after Dantooine, I don't know what else to say.

It is actually very short. I've clocked in 15 hours myself. I seriously don't understand the 30+ hour figures that people pull out of this game.ninjabeaver1

47 hours... first play through... I'm 38 hours in on my second play through...

Everyone has a different opinion, it is one of my top 10 favorite games of all time. It does pick up after Dantooine though. And it is fairly short, 15-20 hours if my memory serves. But if you don't like it you don't like it I guess.

There are far more deeper complex storylines in alot of JRPGs than in KOTOR.

If you're into SW, RPGs with dialogue, or just games with good story, I would be surprised if you didn't like Kotor. It does pick up after Dantooine and the combat grows on you and gets more interesting after you get jedi powers, tho if you hate turn-based combat then maybe not... You can prolly finish it in 15h, but if you do all the side missions, talk to all the characters and actually read the dialogues you can put 30h+ in it. My favourite RPG after Fallout 1 and 2.EntwineX

well, the combat does kind of change when you get force powers. besides, lightsaber combat looks cooler than what you start with.

In KOTOR1, I thought Taris, Dantooine and Tatooine were tedious. I made Tatooine tedious. By the time I hit the sand people, I made sure my character had Force Wave. Besides that, killing Desert Wraids was fun.

Couple of notes on Kotor2. Peragus and Telos were tedious. For my 3rd planet, I made it Nar Shaadaa. That place was great.

Also, get the PC version of Kotor2. The story is complete and it actually makes sense.

I hated the game aswell the first few hours I played.. But as soon as I got off the first planet I started enyoying it (Well that happened roughly 2,5 years after I first played it)

But really, the game is mostly story driven, if you can't get into the story after you become a jedi you will probably never enyoy the game abd could just as well quit it.
