I don't really like the NINTENDO WII

They know a lot about gaming but they just went for easy money and that is why their rep with gamers is bad.

The games are fun to me, so I don't care.

Yeah it sucks for hardcore nintendo fans.. but Its good for what it is, and what it is, is a console thats not competing with the ps3 or 360. Hopefully next gen that changes. Because nintendo could take their franchises to the next level. Its not just about graphics, its that the gameplay types are more limited on the wii than on the 360

I personally think the wii is pretty dumb and barely has a handful of good games. But I think it's great for families and kids and people who also have one of the good systems.

Not to butt in here, but it sounds like you're the fanboy. I don't care how large a company's profit margin is. The simple fact is that the wii doesn't have a lot of good games when looked at in the same context as the heavy hitters on 360 and ps3, and it objectively lacks the power of the other two systems. It's as if the wii isn't even trying to compete as a gaming machine. And that's fine. But don't go telling me that the wii is a better gaming system than the 360 or ps3. That's just false.

2.You don't understand. The Wii isn't aiming at the same audience as the PS3 and 360. It is aiming at more than that. It does have some "hardcore" games on it, but it is loaded with shovelware also. It isn't false, it is an opinion. Nintendo even said that it isn't aiming at the same audience. This is Nintendo's worst gen game-wise, but that doesn't mean that everything they make sucks.

You can't compare the Gameboy's graphics to the PSP, that is just stupid. And your saying that the Gameboy and DS have no games that have great gameplay and stories? That is very stupid as well. Pokemon (original ones) have great gameplay, and all of them have the same gameplay formula. NSMB has great gameplay also. Like I said, I don't hate or dislike Sony, but they don't compare to Nintendo. Sony makes amazing systems, they have great games, and they sell well, but I just prefer Nintendo over them.

Bad performance: -the wii is not a powerful console and is incapable of producing good graphics, which really sucks for this generation - no HD! Appaling games: -Super Mario Galaxy, yeah, but the majority of the games are those of WII FIT, WII SPORTS, SSBB and such atrocious and uninteresting games. Distasteful online multiplayer: -played the wonderful XBL? then do this, Wii has an unbalanced Live with terrible community and awful design. Ugly console: -I don't really like the console, I think it doesn't look nice, I always borrow it when my ass is on vaccation! How is the Wii a joke? Last time I checked, I buy a game console to play fun games, and the Wii delivers me that.

SMG, Zelda, Metroid, yes. At the moment mostly Mario Kart and Brawl. Recently bought House of the Dead: Overkill, and am looking forward to NSMB Wii and FF: Crystal Bearers.

As for online, I tend to detest it for killing off local multiplayer on the HD Twins. As an option, online multiplayer is good, but local multiplayer is the heart of gaming at least for me.

When did SSBB become uninteresting and attrocious?

The games are fun to me, so I don't care.

Multiplayer doesn't make a good game. Short games can still be great (GoW, Contra etc).

It's nice to know that so many here don't like the Wii. And the rest of us who play great games on the Wii really do care. :roll:
