TC im with you. I have a wii and I was so excited for the first month but then it wasn't good at all. The only people that buy the wii are non gamers which is what nintendos target market is. I got a 360 and it is 5^infity power better than wii. Wii has litteraly about 5 good games worth having. 360? way too many to count. dignity556
The number of sheep and other Wii owners here makes your statement a completely ignorant one.

[QUOTE="cainetao11"]Well said. Madworld is my favorite Wii game. jimkabrhel
Multiplayer doesn't make a good game. Short games can still be great (GoW, Contra etc).
It's nice to know that so many here don't like the Wii. And the rest of us who play great games on the Wii really do care.
This has got to be a joke. Mad world looks fing stupid and stuff( I would use far worse language if i could) and yes, unless its a game like fallout 3 that has aton of stuff to do for over 50 hours of gameplay, then your going to need multiplayer to back it up. This is why halo, cod series, etc, is so successful. Exactly, 360 rpgs have this, but the only one that comes close in wii is zelda tp which isnt even an rpg and dosnt last nearly as long as a good 360 rpgI have couple of friends who own a Wii soyes and i played pretty much evry BIG hit and you know wut? they all looks and plays last gen and by that i am not talking about graphics but the rest aswell....bad AI in evry game, pretty much never good physics, looks uglyer on HDTV than SDTV since its way easyer to notice ugly textures and jaggies and the most importantly ONLINE. You buy a game on ps3/360 and you know it worth it since when you are done with single player there is always a multiplayer in 99% of games and that is not the case on Wii+ even those games who do support online its laggy with its friend codes is just a LOL. If you rly like your Wii more than the other two then good 4 u but the fact stand still that the Wii is the worst Nintendo made system by faaaaar.
btw yes MH3 looks good and i am sure is a great game but that is the only game i would buy if i had a Wii for the whole year of 2010Syferonik
The points you made are exaggerated, saying that the Wiis games AI, physics, gameplay etc. is inferior is more suitable if anything. Atleast youve tried the Wii and its games and they dont please you, but instead of saying the the Wii has a crap library try saying itgs library doesnt interest you, makes you more respectable poster...
Yes, the Wii has its flaws like its visuals, online and overall power but its quality games totally make up for its overall inferiority IMO.
And I cant agree that the Wii is the worst Nintendo system by far, because the Virtual boy and GC can take that title.

SMG, Super Paper Mario, Metroid Prime, Okami, all much more than 20 hours due to great replayability. Not to mention the list of RPGs that will be coming out. There's also Mario Kart, The Conduit which do have multiplayer if I wanted such.
And considering the Wii has no good online games, you obviously haven't had the experience of good online gaming. All your exp is based of of crappy MK online play.dignity556I mostly play Team Fortress 2, World of Warcraft, and Counter-Strike. I still prefer an engaging single-player to a multiplayer. Portal, Half-Life 2, Max Payne, etc. Those games don't need multiplayer to be great games.

Super paper mario (GC version much better), Metroid Prime is exact same as the other Metroids on GC...Okami is on ps2 so wut your point? smg and more smg is all i hear from sheeps well at least you have one game to play till Wii 2[QUOTE="StealthMonkey4"]Yes, Nintendo basically invented gaming (I know they didn't but they did get us out of the gaming crash of 1983 and have been making games/systems for a while) but have no idea about it... brilliant statement there. :roll:StealthMonkey4We've already pointed out the absurdity of the statement. Super Paper Mario doesn't have a GC version. MP3 is significantly different in it's control than the others, and all are very high quality. Okami I though was much better with the Motion Control gameplay. Come back to me when you've actually played these games. But I suppose that you won't based on your attitude.

Don't even bother arguing with him. He can't seem to understand the simple concept that not everyone shares his opinion. Some people enjoy single-player games (myself included) more than multi-player games, some enjoy multi-player games more than single-player gamesunless its a game like fallout 3 that has aton of stuff to do for over 50 hours of gameplay, then your going to need multiplayer to back it up. My Metroid Prime 3 save file has somewhere between 24-30 hours clocked, IIRC, and that's damn slow (Yes, the save is 100% collection rate and whatnot). Yet the game doesn't magically need multiplayer. It's a full, polished experience that can stand on it's own. There, refuted.

I've been playing video games since the NES on consoles and since Doom on PC. I own a Wii. Also, you might want to revise the "about 5" statement. There's far more* (and I'm not counting MadWorld or Conduit, here. MadWorld looks dull and Conduit has a couple flaws to be fixed before it's buy-worthy) of them, and more to come (First and foremost on my list: NSMB Wii and FF: Crystal Bearers).
* If you happened to want some, here's a short one of eleven games. SMG, MP3:C, Twilight Princess, Mario Kart Wii, SSBB, Wii Sports, Wii Sports Resort, House of the Dead: Overkill, Boom Blox, Wario Land: Shake It!, Overlord: Dark Legend. These are all games I'd consider worth my money. There's more quality games that I am not interested in, too.
hey now get off your high horse its not like sony hasnt done this before ,
get over it , nintendo played the power game twice and got no where with it and now your expecting them when their finally back on top to stop for a second and make a powerful console with the same games as the 360 ps3 ,
what exactly do you think will happen then ?
3 consoles going for 1 spot is not gonna work out ,
i dont really like sony but you know what, when they were on top it wa because they did somthing right
it was only a matter of time before that brand to start slipping ,
i think it was when sony announced psp thats what triggered the down fall ,
because going back to the sega years sms and genesis were popular enough ! but then came the gg ,
that failed and after that it seamed like every one lost all respect to sega , saturn was dumped 1 yr to early and dc hadnt been started it was suppose to be a gen 6 system but the majority of games it had came from gen 5 !eg rush shadow man gta 2 etc
so back on track sony hit a dry spell ,
microsoft hasnt really gone any where,
nintendo just took this gen to get respect from the third party and its worked,
you must admit , , nintendo needed this or else !
theyd be like sega
thus less competition ,, thus giving more oppertunties for price hikes etc

I'm a 16 year old male and I also love Wii's library of games. Doesn't have as many good games as 360 and PS3, but it's not like I'll have time to play all of them anyways. And I don't really care. ? Did you just call Brawl a bad game? I hope you know that Wii Sports and Wii Fit are actually pretty fun games. I own both and they are as they are, Casual Games. But that doesn't stop me from enjoying them, and I personally don't care if my Friends are trying to be Manly Mans, and make fun of me. I enjoy them.

I just sold mine Today.... good thing too. Haven't played it in over a year. It had a layer of dust on it a mm think...lol. I would of sold it sooner if it wasn't for my girl, she played ddr on it, but hasn't for 9 months. I told her, if she doesn't play it , I will sell it, she hasn't so its sold. I had serieous buyers remorse for buying it in the first place. I played it originally at a freinds house. We all got drunk and played wii sports and he dug his n64 up goldeneye. I got owned so bad as I never had a n64 and the controls were just horrible. Later when i went home I went on ebay (this was when the wiis were still not in stores) and found one for under $275 with 1min to go on bid, I placed a bid, thinking that no way i would get it. And bam i won the bid. I got the wii and it was fun with my girl and some people over but solo gaming was bad, it looked horrible , played horrible ... imo. I got a ps3 2 months later and tried playing it once or twice since. It was unbearable after having a ps3. Midnightshade29
