I don't think people understand what BioWare is....

They're the guys who make the games with the really good stories...

They're the guys who actually try inovative new combat schemes and character managment (yes, I'm looking at you Square Enix).

They're the guys who build the amazing "experience" not just a video game...

They're also the guys who always have framerate issues and tweaks of sorts that pop up every once in a while...

It's funny, I can pretty much guarantee that every negative ME thread was started by an uneducated fanboy who was never given the privlage of putting KOTOR in their busted up PS2...

Again, I'll say it... Reviews don't matter in this game. It WILL be the best experience of the year and little glitches and tweaks in the game don't amount to a hill of beans because the experience will be that good....

I think its funny that i can pretty much guarantee that every person claiming KOTOR to be so awesome hasnt actually played anything from Bioware before the Xbox. KOTOR might be a decent game but its crap compared to BG 2. Im sure it'll be the same for ME.

And just a slight variation in the D&D combat rules suddenly makes it an innovative system?

so going from Kotor's fighting system, to Jade Empires realtime hand to hand combat system, to ME ,which in some circles makes this game a shooter isn't enough innovation for you...?

and yes I never played a BioWare game before KOTOR... it made me a believer....

Convinced of what? That a game developer should be granted my everlasting loyalty based on the laurels of one game? That it's okay to pay my hard-earned money for a game full of bugs and glitches? That it's okay to pay my hard-earned money for a game that is severely short compared to others in its genre? No, thanks. I don't really want to be convinced of that.

I've played through BG2 and KotOR twice each (plus NWN and expansions and Jade Empire) and I think KotOR is overall the best game they've made and the best RPG ever made.

Yea I do enjoy biowares work, but I will admit that i never played a game they made before kotor. lol I like the framerate comment which is very true. Also the cheap shot at eastern rpg's wasint needed. I enjoy easter rpg's more then western with bioware and proboly other fewbeing the acception.

You may not buy the best game of 07 and probably 08 because a little 13 year old fanboy put in your ear that ME was not going to be the best game in a long long while... i was thinking the same thing. first the say bioware is the greatest rpg dev and then they say it made kotor. Lol, kotor was pretty average compared to BG 2

I think he's talking about characters which do tend to be the same in Final Fantasy games. Though the combat does change quite a bit which is the best thing about Final Fantasy games.
