I don't understand how anyone could enjoy FF XIII.

I was only able to play until about the middle of the second disk, about 13 or so hours, but real talk that game is wack as hell. How can you sit there and do the same crap over and over and not get sick of it?

The battle system is mad childish. The story is even worse, what world do these story line writers live in? These dudes got to be from mars. I hate fallout 3, but even that combat and story was better.

I had no idea a battle system could be childish.

Anyway, yeah, I've heard quite a lot of negative things about this game. My friend, who's a FF nut, even disliked the game. Dissapointing..

I can understand that. I've been moaning about it myself. But if I'm buying a game for forty notes I'm going to get the best out of it.

Yes, how in the world can I like FFXIII, that's just ridiculous. My mind has been compelling myself to be a guy that just loves to play boring games,It boggles my mind, it does.

13 hours in nothing, I'm at 22 and you better switch roles a lot in later fights or you'll get owned quickly.

It's made for the casuals, the people getting into the series for the first time and don't understand the ins and outs of RPGS. I can understand how casuals wouldn't understand chaining attacks, paradigms, summons, or whatever. The only person you can blame is yourself for using it and it's unfortunate that you had to resort to using it. But hey! being a casual gamer is nothing to be ashamed about.

personally, I've really been enjoying it. I just got to chapter 9, the story is starting to really pull me in (as it has from the beginning). The combat is getting even more complex/difficult and the bosses all require well thought out strategies. if you tried using auto-attack where I'm at, you'd get wrecked which is why I'm assume you ended up getting frustrated and quit. The graphics are phenomenal and I think the game is about to just open up where I can actually start picking my party. :]
