First they remove ps2 backwards compatibility for the ps3 while still keeping the price pretty high. And now after almost 4 years they are still ast expensive as a Wii and 360 put together. Seriously drop the price and i'll be one of your first buyers..

they don't need to drop the price it's at 23 Million it's killing the cheaper xbox 360 in japan and right now PS3already beat the gamecubes lifetime sales and has high quality exclusives left and right.

When I was watching some of the roundtables in GT or just happen to pass by an artical most were saying its possible that they would announce a price drop near the holidays.

The PS2 is still the best selling system, Now why do you think that is?The Wii is better than the Gamecube and 360 is better than the first Xbox. PS3 is no where near is good as the PS2 , $ony, lower the price now.

Sony loses money for every PS3 they sell...sure if they lower the price then more would buy it but it would only make it worse for them

First of all they can't afford to do it, it's not about You.

Second of all it's $400, get a job, it's not that much. It's worth it.

if they dont drop the price then sales wont increase, if the cdont increase no money to cover the costs...
