^ I couldn't agree more, people are talking like they already knew how the story is gonna be, i mean, calling the story "cliche" is dumb, when you don't even know the entire story, is more like, the trailer is fill with cliche elements, other than that, we know nothing about the plot.

Well it's just crazy how cliche'd FFXIII is. Just about every JRPG I've played is about characters seen as villains who are chosen by gods to destroy a world floating above a world. Oh wait ...

It makes sense though, since for many people when they heard about Kingdom Hearts, they liked the gameplay idea, but they were turned off by the fact that it was Disney characters, so all they would need to do is have that similar gameplay, but only Final Fantasy type environment, and there is a good concept for a game.

this is cliche garbage; with borderline pedophyllic art, rediculous gasping sound effects, and what ammounts to little more than a tribute to a western influenced errosion of popular culture. Oh and the games mechanics seem borderline archaic in this day and age... no towns or exploration? with the likes of Mass Effect pre-emptively releasing and allowing a universe to explore? Mehh... I'll pass on Final Fantasy 13 Not too mention the transition from cgi to gameplay is jarring.

I swear you people are looking at a different game to me.

1) Oh no... there are cliche gasps common to Japanese Anime... what a shame :roll: haveing alittle emotion in a game shouldnt be allowed right?, they should all be like mass effect and dragon age, oblivion, dues ex where everyones an emotionless stiff.

2) Pedophyllic art? theres only 1 child in the party.... and hes fully clothed =/... do you even know what the word means? I guess they should be in hulking space marine suits.. or boring leather armour with +1 blah blah, Id much rather look at that than stylish characters right? :roll:

3) Mechanics old? thats laughable when games like MAss Effect, Dragon Age and Lostodysee/PErsona 4 have beens tables of this generation :roll:, there isnt many if any JRPGS let alone RPGs on the market with this game's combat, its freaking obsurd to think otherwise.

4) ALOT of us like Elaborate stories with alot of flash, I would rather spend 60 hours watching/fighting in an "anime-like universe" than trek through a mindless quest hubbed universe with cliche blockbuster explosions ( im aiming at Mass Effect again here.)....

These complains are as ridiculous as the Retro-FF-Fanboys whining that the summons are mountable vehicles.... yes idiots, because every FF should be as unimagintive as the last :roll: lets go back to boring typical perverted Shiva instead of this new awesome edition.
