Not a big deal deal most games scale really well now.

@MirkoS77: I agree with you that I am too old to try to get one on release day. But I am very happy knowing that at some point I will acquirer one, why dose day one matter so much to people I never understood. I will get one when I can and that line of thinking is because I'm old
@goldenelementxl: While in 2 years console gamers will have the same box with the same old tech and MAYBE a $50 price cut. But lets laugh at the PC gamers! Suckerz!
They’ll probably have to wait another 3 years for their mid gen upgrades (2023) like last gen.
I guess it’s anyone’s guess how much more powerful they’ll be.
Ive got the rtx 2070, spent like 480 for it id like to upgrade but I'm prob gonna wait for some price drops before getting into 3000 series, 2-3 years probably
Yeah, if you have a 2070 already you won't miss out waiting a few more years before upgrading. It'll take a while for games to catch up, especially when game developers NEVER target the most powerful hardware when developing a title. They develop what they think the average PC can reliably run because making a game that'll only work on a PC you spent $700 on a GPU alone for is a great way to limit your sales.
@daredevils2k: yo that is pretty effed up lol how they going to brag to people that the new card is half the price of a 2080ti and much more powerful lmao
LOL I know right lol. I laughed so hard when I heard " You're going to love the 3070. Faster then 2080ti that is priced at 1200.00 "

You are not mentioning key information. There is a reason why, PCs have settings in game to change the graphics quality to gain all levels of the spectrum from lower range GPUs to higher-end.
I guess I am one of those "suckers" who bought a 2080 Ti. However, I could care less if I lost some money over the 2 years. I wanted the better experience gaming. That is the difference between myself and a lot of you. Your focus is on the dollar and my focus is on the experience. I will be picking up the 3090 and placing the 2080 Ti (once I put the fans back on as it is water cooled) in my wife's PC.
When i get to myyyyyyy house i will explain everything in ela format lol
Did you get evicted or are you kayaking your way home from north pole?
Nah.. I kayaked outta ya girl's lap.
@goldenelementxl:
And is that the main reason why most PC gamers simply steer away from those top of the line to expensive models.
I can clearly see your point, but if you bought a damn 2080ti 2 months ago for $1400 and now you see a 3070 for $500 that beat your card one may feel a little frustrated about it.
It is the way Nvidia and AMD control the market, that 2080ti was pure profits, and they keep that price high to not degrade the value of the model it self,so you don't see the 2080ti for $500 no you will not, instead that will be kill and you will see a 3070 that beat the 2080TI for $500,the reason this is done is to keep the value of the TI brand artificially high.
Is not good for the brand to sell a $1400 and all of the sudden drop it to $500 just because your new models with that price will beat it,because that creates a terrible devaluation of the brand,so that is why every time a new model comes out the XX70 model keep beating the top of the line of the previous model and for allot less money.
PC GPU is a totally artificially inflated market where everything is tightly controlled.
Nah.. I kayaked outta ya girl's lap.
Hope it was worth the 8 day trip.
Can we expect you to deliver your irrefutable spiel before this console generation drops?
It won't be as fun pointing out how you were wrong if you don't commit to some ignorant console brain shenanigans right now.
So strike while the iron is hot.

I got bored after the 3rd day but i settled till the 8th. I was going to give you what you expected but then i heard that corny eviction joke. Now you can F off like girl did the past few days.
Some people have a life on forum believe it or not. My Iron is always Hot regardless of the time passed.
You might be on that level one day.

All the high end Turing cards were already discontinued. So, there is nothing going on with keeping the price artificially high. 2080 Ti was still the top consumer card (with no competition) until it was discontinued. That is why the price was ridiculous and stayed ridiculous. All GPUs lose value when the new lineup comes out. Each new generation of cards brings better performance for less. Former flagship technology becomes mainstream and affordable. This is a good thing. The 1070 beat the 980 Ti just like the 3070 beats the 2080 Ti. Same shit.

Those kind of people don't get offended over forum jokes, sweet cheeks.
lol true men take "offensive" to w.e they feel.
Talk ya shit if you want. I talk my shit if i want.
Taking note/action worthy offensive is the only time i even think of that word.
So stop being soft over there. I gave ya girl back so its okay now.
lol true men take "offensive" to w.e they feel.
Acting on feelings and having mood swings are feminine traits. What's next, true men wear pigtails?
You ready to speak to the topic now that you got your temper tantrum over with?
I'm not stopping you from making a fool of yourself, just make it plausibly relevant.
Feel bad for the 2080ti owners that sold their cards in preparation for a 3080. How long are they gonna be running integrated graphics if any at all? Lmao
@R10nu: bro this ain't 1950. Real men love looking like a fool somtimes and know the difference btw "feelings" for gossips sake and actual prolonged imbedded feelings.
If I remember right I def did not look like a fool anyway. Your logic only attracts caveman women so go on living with that mindset.
I hope you are a teenage thinking these things. Or have stern parents who have been thinking for you instead thinking for self via actual experience and true observations
