I got a wii

Finally got a Nintendo Wii, I had been trying to get one for  a while now, but was always sold out everywhere. I had wanted to get a 360 for a while too, but the wii is just so much cheaper and if I was going to waste alot of money I would rather use the money on upgrading my computer instead, besides most of the 360s games are on pc.

So far from my experience with the wii has been mostly possitive. I got the wii to connect wireless. downloaded this browser channel (worked a little slow), tried the channels that are included (some quite fun), made a few miis and played the two games I bought. I bought the legend of zelda: twilight princess and sonic and the secret of the rings.

The legend of zelda was incredibly fun, I cant believe I never tried one before and sonic was not so great. I bit too linear and not enough freedom to do what you want like in the legend of zelda.

That is what I think of the wii so far, I recommend it to anyone as a purchase. First nintendo system I have bought since my nintendo 64 btw. I will add more to the post if my view on it changes for any reason.

I too have a Wii. I didn't have to buy one though!

In a couple of months, you'll realise that wii is simple a GC with modified controls.

Just compare the games you now play to last gen.  wii-mote is the only difference

I too have a Wii. I didn't have to buy one though!

Other than Zelda:TP which I can play on my GameCube, there really isn't a a Wii game that interests me. At all.MC2K8

Wind Waker really left a sour taste in my mouth (which I may get over and revisit sometime) about Zelda but Four Swords was positive because I loved the 2D.  I'll really have to force myself to go back and get through Wind Waker before I go any farther I guess.  The first Zelda game really was the best one, that or Link to the Past.

As far as Sonic goes it has been so long, back in the Sonic and Knuckles days.  Sonic Adventure was positive though.  Another case of falling out of love.

Beat Zelda, then play Sonic. Sonic's a great game once you get used to the controls, and play around with the ring abilities.

Also, go buy Trauma Center. Awesome game.

And then buy SPM, for it shall be even awesome-er. :D
