I highly doubt it, since those games you listed already have a negative view on them .

Only game I see doing well is Forza horizon series. I wish I could say the same Forza , but the Forza community has a very negative view on the latest Forza

Forza Horizon 5 would sell great on Switch 2 as there isn't really a racing game like that on Nintendo platforms

Halo infinite would sell great on PS5 as it really lacks shooters.

Watch, they put them all on PS Plus.

TBH I just want the MCC and Sunset Overdrive. I don't really care about anything else MS could release.

I would say Elder Scrolls 6 but **** Bethesda. 76 and Starfield were both lazy cash grabs with no heart put into them. I'm done with Bethesda games.

It makes sense for Indiana Jones or Starfield to be multiplatform because no one is ever really going to identify Bethesda and Activision as part of the Xbox branding after all this time. I do not want to see Halo, Gears or Forza on Playstation or Nintendo because those are part of the core identity of the Xbox brand. It would be too weird seeing Gears or Halo on PS5 or Switch. There is nothing wrong with having brand identity and affiliation in any industry, especially the video game industry.

Sony historically always been a great place for 3rd party so Xbox actually have a good chance of getting a best seller on PS.

As comparison, despite Nintendo Switch selling hardware way past PS4, it only sold 1.2billion software compared to PS4's 1.5billion software sold. Sony also started to count PS4&PS5 software together and they last reported 1.99 billion software sold by Q2 2023 so idk it probably reached 2.1 billion software sold by now.

Def a bump...but so long as they are on GP day 1, I don't see anything ground breaking.

People will buy those games for sure. Some titles might break Xbox records here and there, but I don't see that being the norm.

I don't think Halo or Gears are anywhere near the heavy hitters they were in the PS2-PS3 era.

I don't imagine them selling particularly well, especially when the newest Gears (Gears 5) is already 5 years old.

It still looks great though so 4K/60 on PS5 and it will feel and look like a modern game.

the casual youth majority who mainly play fortnite,Cod/Warzone and Fifa couldn't tell you Wtf is 1st party,3rd party sony studio's or xbox studio's.They just boot up and play with friends.

I'm guessing if the rumours are to believed its MS and not xbox who's pushing 3rd party..then sales numbers will depend on if they release day and date or 6 months to a year down the line.

MS may think Gamepass day one on xbox/pc is a better deal than $70 on Switch and PS.

As i look under my tv i have both the XBSX and the PS5..next week it could be only one console and $310 in my pocket after a trade in.

Why are people under the assumption that Sony or Nintendo would even want those games or GamesPass on their platforms? Microsoft migjt be playing a stupid game if they think Sony will allow their own games to face competition without charging MS a very heavy premium for their games to appear on their platform.

It's hard to say. If these were attractive to more gamers then maybe there would be more Xboxes out there.

The main reason why MS is making such a drastic move is...SURPRISE...Nintendo and Sony fans, wait it, are willing to BUY GAMES!

When I say they buy games I mean for EVERY genre and demographic.

Pick any game type and Sony fans purchase % eclipse the ratio that xbox fans support a game with. ALL GENRES!

Pretty sure whatever the bump to each game franchises MS gets they'll happily take over the pitiful support amount they saw from their own fanbase.

Quality matters, so It doesn't mean those game are going to set the world on fire sales wise, but they will be supported by NIn & Sony base in a way MS will never look back.

Question is how will your mod role look IF MS drops out of hardware. We all know GS and the mod cumminty is lem sympathizers. :P

I think if MS released games on PS, of course the upside would be increased sales. With a massive game like Starfield, why wouldn't they want as many gamers who could purchase the game?

Halo Infinite mp on PS5 would double the player base at a minimum immediately.

It's F2P and thrives on player base, seems like the most obvious to go multiplat.

Whether these games sell on PlayStation or Nintendo systems will depend on the demographics of those who play on these systems.

I think they would do well. There are a handful of Sony diehards who will have an aversion to MS stuff for a while, but most of the market is made of filthy casuals. They will be like, "Halo, Starfield, Forza? I've heard of these", and buy them.
