Borderland 2 was release not even a month ago,and already there is a damn $10 dollar DLC,companies are trying to suck our damn wallets dry,and it is you yeah you the one we have to blame.. I remember when a game would come with a ton of playable characters,colors and stuff,now you have to buy crap which is even inside the game you already pay for. The whole DLC era suck pretty bad,we are not talking about making an add on to extend the life of a game that was great and that would get several new levels,we are talking about down right rip off of content from the disc to be sold as DLC.

I don't see it that way. When you bought the game, you knew what you were getting. If the company wants to make DLC that fine because in the end you still got what you paid for. I also look at it as a way to make up for how many companies will be in the used game market.

I agree. People are too dense to realize a thing though. "if you don't like it don't buy it" does not apply, because if other people buy it it affects everyone. I've only ever bought a few dlcs--halo maps, and maybe some other map additions as well. There's a lot of people in America that eat McDonalds everyday. This sort of activity has an effect on health care. It affects almost everyone. It goes back to the old saying, "you can have your opinion as long as it doesn't affect mine".

DLC like what BF3 offers are good since they're essentially small expansions. DLC such as the multiplayer DLC with RE5 is just wrong. As long as there aren't obviously taken stuff out of the actual game I'm fine with it.

Anyhoo, the day they start Forcing me to buy DLC is the day I'll have a big problem with it but I'd say the odds are that will never happen. :P

The dlc is free for people who bought it new.

Yes i know and that is 100% truth... But the problem is that this game doesn't even have a month,and already is getting a character for $10 dollars,character that was probably made already and just strip to be sold apart,which do show some very heavy greed,because it not even priced at $2 or $3 but $10 dollars dude. Now i am not complaining about all games,i think i make that very clear,is ok to extend the life of a game with DLC when the game is old and is running out of juice,but this DLC suck,i hate even more when games are like 4 or 5 months away,and already they are telling you that DLC is coming soon after the game launch,or worst charge you for content which is already inside the disc you already pay for and is just key luck.

You got a point there, but there are some games that have dlc stuff that should be in the game, but why buy the game if it bothers you that much?

The Mechomancher? That actually is not that bad. New character and I'm assuming a few new quests here and there. What really is bad was Mass Effect 3's Day 1 DLC. They strip that part right off the game and asked an extra $10 for it (if you got the SE).

but BL2 already had 4 classes. if DLC didn't exist, the mechromancer wouldn's exist. so people need to get over it. and anyone who preordered it, they got it for FREE.

if someones poor he cant afford DLC so his wallted is already destroyed, infact it rips off people who can afford it and it raising the price of the game by selling you pieces of the game that should either be included in the game to begin with or part of the sequel , would you buy a retail game for 150$ ? probably not, but with dlc you often do
