anyone noticed the graphical downgrade already from that story trailer? lmao.
Yes, I do. The people look worse than AC4. Those faces are awful, wtf Ubi. Like Fable or something.
and they watch_dog'ed the lighting also ROFL.

UBsoft arn't that bad, I liked em. splinter Cell, Ghost Recon, Farcry 3 are good IMO... AssAsscreed series on the other hand.
@IgGy621985: AC IV is my favorite one of the bunch, i haven't had any problems with the series. I like it, the problem i have had with them is the downgrade they just announced for PS4 just for the sake of X1. That's bs
AC4 was pretty damn good, the only ones I hated were AC1 and AC3. They could have done w/o the Desmond Miles bull.
One guy feels guilty for buying an Xbox One, and another hates Ubisoft because the trailers are too good and "forces" him to drop $60 every time. What's with the yoots of America?
I'm actually Croatian :-P
I prefer not playing most of their games, but they have made some really good games, such as AC2, Rayman(s), Beyond Good & Evil and Prince of Persia: SoT, so I don't hate them at all.
If I would be stupid enough to purchase something after only watching a trailer, I bet I'd be angry too.
Here is what I think about Assassin's Creed :
Assassin's Creed = Great game but repetitive
Assassin's Creed 2 = Amazing . Great story , lot of variety and great protagonist.
Assassin's Creed : Brotherhood = Good game . Story is OK . A nice addition to AC 2 saga but feels nothing more than expansion pack. Setting and world design is amazing though.
Assassin's Creed : Revelations = Amazing . Easily the best storyline in entire series . Great setting , great optimization , great characters and emotionally strong ending. A great conclusion to Ezio's trilogy . Ezio and Altair are at their best in this game. The game is also more difficult than other Assassin's Creed games . My personal favorite . Loved the soundtrack as well.
Assassin's Creed 3 = Trash . Everything is trash . Nuff said .
Assassin's Creed 4 : Black Flag = Easily the best game in the series . Story is good but nowhere near as good as AC:R but other than that , it has highest production values , huge open world , ton of side quests and so on . Soundtrack and characters are great too . In my opinion , this is also the best looking open world game out there . (Haven't played vanishing of ethan carter yet)
Assassin's Creed : Unity = Director of revelations is involved in this project , so I am keeping my eye on this one.

Im surprised my hardcore friend cloudimperium like assassins creed.
but i agree AC4 is best one (rest are terrible) because its more challenging but only because of naval battles. protagonist is not terrible as ezio. etc
Assassins creed is not game. game require failing mechanics. AC doesnot and thus its a non game.

What the hell does "non game" mean?

because its non game. simple.
where is failing mechanic in AC games? you cant die. only casual gamers but not us hardcore gamers. combat is easy and basic. no challenge and entire game is tutorial.

Oh, right... So how do you define a "game", exactly?
Last AC i bought was 2 and i got sick of it like after 5 hours.
AC sucks.
Ubisoft sucks.
Talentless hacks who make nothing but boring and repetitive games.
Your're part of the problem. If you dislike these games so much, you shouldn't be buying them.
I finished all the worthwhile AC games up until Revelations. III was a bore and I haven't started Black Flag (no motivation because I know I'm missing out on the Desmond story from III, which I wanted to see).
The franchise has overstayed it's welcome.
I hate Ubisoft too.
I also hate all Gamers including myself.
Rayman Origins and Legends seems to be the best made Ubisoft game to date and no one bought either of them. Instead we all went for the Far Crys, the Assassin's Creeds, and the Watch_Dogs.
I don't hate them. All I want of them is to get rid of Uplay cuz a lot of people suffers from it. And give us better, more decent ports for PC in the future. I have ''confession'' too (lol) I LOVE every assassin's creed out there and finished each and every one of them 100% :D but the last three AC games were disappointing a bit for me. AC2 is the most one that made an impact on me.
I really liked Black flag but it got repetitive for me when I hit the 50%. Story and characters were bad excluding Kenway and Anne bonney and maybe Adewale. The combat (they made the same mistake again like in ACR) is a copy of the previous game. The naval battles were really improved as they were really boring in AC3, but still it wasn't that good. The under water sections gave me headaches, only tunnels were fun. The cities were boring like in ACR's constantinople. But the islands were damn awesome! the visuals too. The sidequests weren't really interesting (Naval sidequests in particular) like in ACR, again :D
(Books missions, wtf? only Master assassin missions were damn good).
I noticed something (could be wrong) it's like most people who liked AC4 are the ones who never actually played or liked or finished AC games (or not huge AC fans), that's probably why I didn't like it much, not to mention it didn't feel like a proper AC game. But Unity sure looks like one, hope it delievers. I smell a Watch_Dogs AC3 hate storm coming in the way though :D
BTW BRING BACK POP AND BEYOND GOOD AND EVIL. GODDAMMIT !!!
Let's ignore the fact that Ubisoft also releases games like Rayman Legends and Valiant Hearts so we can showcase our video game hipsterism at full force.
I've played AC1 and 2. Beat 1, haven't finished 2.
They are alright, but I sometimes find the controls unpleasant. Not difficult, just unpleasant.
Ubisoft games have great presentation. I'll give them that.
I'm more into Ubisoft Montpellier games tho, like Rayman.
I'm getting far too much of an AC3 vibe from this for my liking; the significant historical setting, the overly serious story, the boring sounding protagonist. Hopefully they manage to pull off that big historical epic vibe they're shooting for but I don't really trust them to do that.
I have a confession to make (no, I'm not gay). I own Ass Creed 1, 2, 3 and 4, and I forced myself to finish only the second one. I even have Black Flag installed on my PC, but I couldn't make myself to start it and play. Something bores me about every AC game out there.
But every AC trailer they make is so damn awesome I must buy the damn game. To not play it. So there it is. I'm an idiot.
This latest trailer is so damn good it forces me to buy the game, and I hate Ubisoft because of that.
What about you guys? Did you finish every Ass Creed game to date?
Hype is a Monster only a few can control. If you find the answer. Let me know. :p

Couldn't have said it better myself.
It's kinda what I would like to see from the Tomb Raider series. If you know what I mean?
Actual HUGE fleshed out tombs! on a giant map.

I'm still surprised that SNIPER hasn't been banned yet
Ah Ubisoft. Love me some Ubisoft.
Assassin's Creed and Prince Of Persia are some of the best action adventure games out there.
Ditto Far Cry for open world FPS games, and ditto Rayman for 2D platformers.
They also have all their Tom Clancy ball o' games, and a bunch of random XBLA games.
One of my fave developers, after the god tier of Nintendo, Bioware, Rockstar, Naughty Dog, etc.
I lump people who buy every game in a franchise no matter what together with console fanboys of the worst kind. If you buy into marketing hype or your own nostalgia when considering whether to spend $60+ for a game, you deserve to lose that money to a turd.
Agreed.
I've only ever played the first Assassins Creed game. I was bored outta my mind in the game and from that day forward vowed i would never play another one again. I hated the switching back and forth from present day to the past... it made it feel like everything I was doing in the game was meaningless.
I have heard all the newer ones are not as boring, but I'm not really too eager to get into them for a while
Only finished 1 and 2. Played a big chunk of Brotherhood, and Revelations, but never finished them. Played about 3 hours of AC3, and about the same with AC4. Both AC3 and AC4 bored me. I will probably pass on the next two Ass Creeds, although Unity being set in the French Revolution does interest me. So I may pick it up when it's cheaper.

Someone needs to tell them to STFU, seriously.
Love their trailers, hell I'd love to watch a movie about shit like this without the dumb scifi bullshit added in. But the games I really don't care to play. The take too long to get into the swing of things, are far too easy, and keep breaking up the good bits with scifi bits that never needed to be in the games to begin with.
