I can only have one however. The wife would not be real excited for multiple consoles in the entertainment center, or the added money needed to support 2 systems. I really feel drwan to the XBOX 360 as of late esoecially after E3. HELP!

Its always good to get them all,you should get the 360 it got great games and more coming.VitunLehmatI agree! it just ain't happening brother :(
Depends on what you like and if you have a gaming PC. If you have a gaming PC the 360 is less desirable. I own both a 360 and PS3 and play my PS3 more but I think it varies from person to person. I'm also more excited for future PS3 games like The Last Guardian, Heavy Rain, Uncharted 2, and God of War III. I am excited for Alan Wake and Shadow Complex on the 360 though. But if I had to choose I'd pick the PS3. But it all depends on what you are most looking forward to in the end.
Also my wife is big into gaming as well, it always good to share interests, but I know that some people just don't like gaming and aren't going to change anytime soon. I'm sure you have tried to get her to like it with not much success.
You're married and can't afford two systems? I call fake.PCGamer248I never said could not afford. And what are you calling fake to? I am faking asking a honest question?

xbox360 looks all but dead after this years E3 IMHO. MS dosen't even look like they care if xbox360 brings out anything new and exciting to it's fans this year. Tell us...are you a fakeboy?
So you really can't have both? Personally I'd never sell/trade a console and wouldn't advise anyone else to, unless they're really unsatisfied with it. Which is kinda how you sound, so I dunno.Floppy_JimBut.. he needs to keep the PS3! When he has kids it will teach them discipline! :P

No I am not a fakeboy. What is so outlandish about my thread you would even think that?get xbox 360 elite, its alot cheaper then ps3 40GB (at least in uk) and you can enjoy great old games + the upcoming killers like Halo ODST, SC Conviction, Forza 3 + better multiplats
I had the same problem...I had a PS3 but I really felt like I was missing out by not having a 360 too because all my friends have 360's and they were always talking about Gears of War or L4D etc. So I brought one, got Gears 1+2, Mass Effect, Crackdown and Too Human...
They're all good games but none of them blown me away and because I only buy exclusive games for the Xbox and I'm not gonna pay for live because I dont really wanna play Gears online so now I feel I would have rather spent the cash on more games for my PS3 because I've not got the urge to complete Too Human or Crackdown and theres no other games on it I feel I'm missing out on now (Maybe Banjo because I loved the N64 ones) so my 360's just been gathering dust whilst I've been playing through my backlog of games I haven't finished on the PS3.
So yea...I'd think twice if I were you about swapping the PS3 for a 360 because you may be a bit disapointed.

It probably looks dead to you because you're a fanboy? it could say that i have no interest on any ps3 game so far and i'm more exited for the xbox 360 games coming? but you don't see me saying that ps3 is dead.get a Xbox 360 without a doubt, I have all three consoles and I only play the Xbox360 and the Nintendo Wii, my PS3 has been collecting dust every since I bought it not to mention I have never ever even bought or played one single game on it, I use it strictly for playing Blu-Ray movies I only wipe the dust off my PS3 when I want to play a Blu-Ray movie, the PS3 doesnt have any exclusives i'm interested inProjectPat187I read this and thought it was 2007

so only kiddies post here and ask for decisions?
Depends on your taste and which PS3 you happen to have. If you have the 20, 60, or the early 80 gig PS3 then you would regret getting rid of it in time. The 60 gig used or refurbished are selling for more than the the newest systems on the market at this time when you can find them.
Oh definitely stick with the PS3. The line-up of stuff coming out (and what's already around) is just so fantastic. Be happy with what you got. :)

Neither the reply, nor the original post make any sense to me. And yes, I am married....and am probably old enough to be your dad :)
The reply is entirely an economic argument. If cost is not a particularly big problem, then the whole notion of 'I'd rather get more games' than buy a 2nd system is irrelevant.
Which brings me to the OP. Besides the relatively minor aesthetic issue of having two different systems hooked up, there is no difference whether you have 1 or 2 (or 3 systems) other than cost, and time available for play. Either you are being unrealistic or your wife is. I have all 3 systems. I don't spend anymore time now then I did when I had two systems. Or when I had only one system. My time is relatively fixed. Only now, I can spend my time on the games I think I will like the most, from any of the systems. I don't necessarily spend more money on numbers of games, nor time spent on playing games.
What your wife is almost certainly objecting too is not a second system. It is that she thinks a second system will mean you will spend even more time on games and less time with her or on other things. I would lay huge money that is the issue. One of you isn't being honest. And that is probablyyou. She probably is correct that you will just spend more time on gaming.
Xbox 360 has a larger library of games behind it, both in the exclusives department and multiplatform department. It's your call.

I know the time issue is a factor as well and honestly I don't get to game that much as it is now. I would not even put myself in a position to neglect my wife for gaming. My wife is pretty cool about the gaming. I think you are making more of this situation than is there. I will say again in a different manner. "I only want one system to keep up with I have a PS3 currently but really feel like I want an XBOX 360 more." I understand the decision may be a little impulsive but I tend to be that way. I also golf 2 to 3 times a week so my play money really get eaten up with that hobby as well :) I probably forgot to mention that $300.00 a week habit ooops [QUOTE="SUD123456"]

Anyway if you are serious then I am just curious to what game/s in perticular make you feel this...are they exclusvie 360 games or were they the PC crossplatform games that impressed you?
If you truly can only have 1 and if it was the cross-platform PC games that impressed you (Alan Wake, Splinter Cell Convictions, Modern Warfare 2,Left for Dead 2) then I would keeping your PS3 and upgrading your PC and have the best combo.

Well never a fan of people getting rid of one console for another, so to save you less trouble it would be best to stick with a PS3. wait after all the games they have shown on e3 are released then decide.
Winner of e3 is not equal to winner of the year
