I've had undying faith since day 1. It's 3D console Zelda, people. This game will be awesome. It'll be crystal meth.

This pretty much for me too, but for some reason i'm really hyped for this game. Probably the most i've ever been for a Zelda game.
its zelda. it will be awesome. but my minds still blown just thinking about an HD zelda on wii U, cannot wait til thats out. which will prob be a few yearsTH1Sx1SxSPARTA
They should make a WiiU HD version of Skyward Sword. Kinda like they did with Zelda TP, GC/Wii version :D
The major thing I'm concerned about is having to recallibrate (? spelling) the Wiimote. I had to do it alot in Wii Sports Resort.
PhazonBlazer
Well you nailed one thing, it's the only potential negative about this game.
However I don't trust the reports from journalists based on how they played, they where simply doing it wrong, and it's probably so that if you play as intended then it's not an issue. I'm gonna reserve my thoughts regarding this until I play the finished game.
I have a feeling that people will put too high expectations for the first true WM+ game. I'm sure there will be hiccups here and there, but not to the extent that it would be a valid reason to not hand out the highest possible score.
95% responsive/accurate WM+ >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> 100% responsive/accurate traditional controls, period, no discussion.

Be glad Zelda games most the times is so easy but in other games those 5% unresponsive controls can kill you....
Agreed. I always remained optimistic but my hype had died down, f inly a bit, but now it's at a higher level than ever. Its Zelda so I was always interested but E3 also restored my hype for more or less the same reasons.
Looks fantastic. Loving the new villian too.

I really hope Debbie/Ghirahim doesn't end up being a tool for Ganon.
93BlackHawk93
Agreed, that would be lame

Wouldn't it be cool if Debbie was like Ganon's dad?

That would be fabulous!
I always had faith in Skyward Sword because Miyamoto knows what he is doing and he would never screw up his belvoed Zelda. And I'm a huge fan of the artwork, its beatiful in its own way. I guess you could say Skyward is the Wind Waker expect its in the Sky.
I was in the minority that understood what the E3 and GDC showings were about. I cant believe some people actually thought this game would have no character or story elements. I made a pretty big thread about it last year but not much changed.
Xenoblade Chronicles and potentially Skyward Sword in August. Great time to be a Wii owner
Sorry i mean an EU Wii owner
Agreed. Skyward sword is going to be amazing. I would have bought it no matter what as it is Zelda, but E3 assured me of it. I believe it will be right up there with the best Zelda's.
Looks like every other zelda on the market.
Chemical_Viking
Yeah of course.
I know what you mean, it is EXACTLY like every other Zelda
So is every single encounter in this game going to be a "sword slicing" puzzle? Could get annoying after awhile. Bread_or_Decide
I am sure not EVERY encounter will be, as I highly doubt they scrapped creatures like bats, which I am pretty sure do not have little shields :P. But yeah it will be prominent. I dont see the problem with that, it requires more skill and makes things interesting. It is like ragging on Assassins creed for not being God of War.
I've just seen you can skip the cutscenes, or at least some of them.
Finally, Nintendo has caught on to this!

I just love it when people pretend to know anything about this franchise and call them the same games.
That feature was in Twilight Princess also.I've just seen you can skip the cutscenes, or at least some of them.

I don't know why, but those birds or whatever the hell it is feel a bit dead. If they're going to be the mount of the game, Nintendo could give them a bit more personality or life. I guess my biggest problem with them is that their eyes don't move. It would give a lot more personality and life to the creatures if the eyes moved. Maybe they'll do something on that still, after all, the Zelda series put great emphasis on detail.
StealthSting
you got a problem with Shoebills?

Shinobishyguy
Haha. I have to admit, I've no recollection of the species. Interesting.
The first time I saw those birds in SS the first thing that came to mind were the ancient terror birds, only in this case they could actually fly. The species above though, at least have small eyes, but in the case of SS they really stand out. Hell they don't need to make them move, just have them blink. They just look a bit weird to me because of how lifeless the eyes feel XD.
Given that the whole of the gameplay is built around motion control: no, it wont.Great graphics, but sorry, I don't like wiggling the controller when playing games.
I hope it will have classic controller option.
EZs
The game looks amazing. This is the only core motion-controlled game that has ever looked interesting to me.
I hope they can build on the concept of this game by making an online Sammurai game for Wii U. I really want to see a sammurai-style Call of Duty game that uses swords, throwing knives, and archery as the weapons and motion-controls as the primary control method. The game doesn't have to be Call of Duty, I just want to have sweet online multiplayer functions.
You could probably get the limited edition gold Wii Remote Plus that is what I'm doing.I disliked mostly everything about this game when it was first announced and now I can't wait to get it. The only thing I'm annoyed with is having to buy a Wii Motion+ to play it, but it's no big deal.

Do we know how that is going to be given/sold/bundled or whatever yet?

No but if it is bundled I'm definitely buying the bundle because I don't like having the attachment seperate from the Wii Remote.[QUOTE="NaveedLife"]

I want it because its Zelda anyway :P. But I am not going to pay extra or anything. I hope it is a bundled edition.
I am curious if anyone knows if the post quest.... endgame rumors are true? rumored spoilers!
after you beat the game you are thrown back into the world for an endless, storyless epilogue... and every dungueon has a full new dungueon within them that uses all your tools to progress.... this seems like a fanboys fantasy to me... but would be spectacular

Seems too good to be true; would be awesome though.

It could be true. It definitely goes with what Nintendo has been saying about the game.
The new Zelda will be the "densest" most pact Zelda game to date, and there will be many reasons to go back to areas previously visited.

kind of reminds me of a certain surprise in a recent masterpiece of theirs. That said, this would be way better (IMO) than that one.
