man you guys are such whiners. if they have good stuff unlockable to good players you don't want it because then you just get owned everytime you try to play. but then if they make everything equally accessible across all skill levels you complain that the game is too random and broken (ie. mario kart wii)
It baffles me how so many people can be excited for Modern Warfare II when there a far more interesting and original IPs that are releasing some time soon.
Not that I want any title any title to fail.(As much as I would love to shove my foot in Activision's face). I've can't possibly justify any reason to be excited for the title.
I hope the game sells millions, that means I have more people to play online with. CoD is a great franchise, mainstream or not.

the best weapons must be unlocked via ranking system they arent avalible to you right away. So this means someone who is ranked higher has access to the weapons and the person who just bought call of duty mw2 and tries to play online and they cant select any good weapons. it create's unbalanced gameplay.

I do agree that IW has definitely lost their minds when it comes to multiplayer since MW 1, however, this isn't a valid reason for not buying MW2.
Valid reasons would be the disgusting hype and ego surrounding its release or the emphasis on giving you free kills with little effort.
How's this game even worth 59$? it's the same crap as call of duty 4 i seen the multiplayer videos they just added some moveable physics based objects more of them in the levels. it's the same damn multiplayer bastard's still havent fixed the issue where you cant sprint and hipfire which is something you can do in real life.

i cant even count how many times the no shooting while ur sprinting killed me it totally unbalances the game. the person not sprinting can shoot and kill you and you cant do nothing about it and there's a delay switching from sprint to shoot mode it causes you to die alot piece of crap game could be more balanced if you could shoot while sprinting but the developers are freaking dumbasses and dont listen to the people who grew up playing fps when this genre started they only listen to the noob halo aim assist players.

Regardless, MW 2 will sell millions, and one out of those will contribute on my behalf ;). You can hate Activision all you want, you can call them all the nasty words that enter your mind, but you can't deny that COD is one of the finest FPS games out there. Personally, I don't like Activision's current attitude, but I'm here to play awesome games, not judge people :P.

I kind of hope it fails too just because its Activision, but the weapons locks aren't a problem. They gave you the best guns in the game from the start in CoD4
Best Assault: M16
Best SMG: Mp5
Best LMG: RPD
Best Shotgun: M1014
Best Sniper: M40
All of these are available around level 6 or so, which could be done in a single match
well I would understand the "zomg it's 60$ on the PC" complaing if there wouldn't be a gazlion place where you can buy it for 50$. Walmart will have it for 50$ iirc, a UK site has it listed for some 25 pounds etc etc etc, if you REALY want to make a point that you won't buy 60$ pc games, buy it at a place where they have it for 50$. Not buying the game just sends activision the message that you won't be buying it anyway, buying it in places that have it for 50$ sends them the message that you will buy and support the game, just not with a price tag of 60$
