Since when have graphics been so important? And eye-sore? The artwork is great and thanks to it, it looks fantastic. I like the looks of it more than Crysis.

PC gamers in general care more about gameplay than graphics. Why else are there still over 100k people playing Counter Strike 1.6 at any given moment.

Really, halo is a rehash, WiC isn't deep enough, Bioshock is a dumbed down rehash, CoD4 rehash.....

SMG's graphics are great

and Crysis must have decent gameplay otherwise it wouldn't have gotten 9.0

I'ma have to agree with the Orange Box getting GOTY. I mean, it has 5 of the best games ever made in that jank, and it's cheap! It deserves GOTY, but if not, then I'll bet Bioshock of SMG get it.tobenator

the problem with OB for GOTY is that it's not one game. it's a package. sure it's the best buy in gaming this year but not one of the single games deserves GOTY on it's own IMO. not even portal because it's a short puzzle game. like yatzhee even mentioned that portal wouldn't have been as good if it was longer because it would have worn out its welcome.

If you think SMG's graphics are an eyesore, you need a new t.v. (or need to get your eyes checked). Mario has beautiful graphics.

With Jeff gone, Halo 3 has no shot at GotY.

nah wic is great but it dosent diserve it, Portal should get its the most innovative game released in the past few years

And even tho it's more of the same. COD4 is a really great fun game that has everything.

And as a long time Halo fan, I have to say Halo 3 has to be the biggest disapointment of 2007.
