i hope it doesn't flop, i really want this game :( no not just for graphicskweeniDon't let reviews cloud your jugement. SOCOM is really a great game and it got 6.5.
i cant believe quake 2 got rated a 9.0 and halo a 9.7 lol and halo 2 9.4 or 9.5 i think.
well pc higher standards also different reviewers.

If you think that it's fate won't drastically alter SW...get ready for a rude wake up call come late February. Why? MGS4 won GOTY, and all we got were a bunch of people whining on a forum. The PS3's sales were down 19% year-over-year in November according to NPD, while the 360 and Wii were both up (with the Wii setting the November sales record ). Some people seem to be betting on KZ2 being "the PS3's Halo", but frankly that's quite a leap-of-faith to make. There have been countless solid titles that haven't become system-selling blockbusters, that "spark" of mega-popularity is rare.

So, I can't see KZ2 really altering the course of the SW significantly. If it fails to meet expectations, oh well. If it succeeds, great, the PS3 has another solid game to add to its library. Either way, sure, we'll see massive whining on the forums, but that's only because people are investing a ridiculous amount of time and energy on the success of something they have absolutely no control over.
Lol, I see...using "SW" was misleading. Initially, I thought you were referring solely to System Wars: the board. It will have a significant impact here period.In the market battle (the one that actually matters), KZ2 can be a tide changer in ways. It won't single-handedly "change the SW" though. Not at all.
KZ2 has the definite appeal and reported quality to become a system-seller. But if the system at hand is too pricey, then the barrier of entry can cripple that feat fromt the start. The Gran Turismo and Halo franchises have more in common right now than KZ2 and Halo (speaking sales).

bungie sucks sucks at mapping....they cant design good multiplayer maps.
unreal tournament 2003 actually did evolve the gameplay of unreal tournament 1999.
you could jump 2 times/2 dodges double dodge jump in a single bound vs 1 in ut1999 plus they added walljumps.
ut3 went back to ut1999's gameplay...the reason why it flopped really didnt do anything new and the multiplayer maps arent the best epicgames ever made.
i was expecting ut3 maps to have some physics based objects atleast out of the box there is none.

unreal championship 1# gameplay actually owned ut2k4.
each character had their own ability
the slow ass juggernaut dudes could take alot of hits
the gen mo kai aliens could run fast
the robots could jump high as crap/leap far.
i miss that ut2k4 gameplay everyone ran same speed/jumped same height.

ut2k4 has the game doesnt feel right on pc....unreal championship had that good unreal feel though.
the rocket launcher couldnt shoot grenades like ut1999 in ut2k4.
the rockets shoots grenades in ut3.
you can fake dead in ut3/ut1999 you cant in ut2k4.
ut3 has hoverboards ut2k4 doesnt
the vehicles physics is greatly improved sucked in ut2k4.
vehicles have turbos now
actually has a physics engine now.

It had potential but it didn't fullfil it, unless it's a demo and not the full game.

halo 3 scored 9.5 and i think the multiplayer maps suck bigtime my friend let me check em out to see how good designed they were.

The price of the PS3 is a big problem. In the US, unemployment is about to hit 7%, and people are feeling the burn of tough times. While things will be turning around in the second half of 2009, it's still not a good time for a $400 luxury item. Videogames have to be affordable - if a teenager can't buy the system easily with an after school job, or a parent can't work an extra day at work to buy your console, then it's just too damn expensive.
I hope it flops.
It will save me from spending $60.
But seriously I really dont care how well it does.
If it sucks then it sucks, it's just a game.
If its a fantastic game, that's nice because it will give me something to do.
I think Sony need to get this right.
That being said it is not quite as critical after last year with R2, LBP and MGS4, plus the equal multiplats, Dead Space and GTAIV.
I hope it flops.
