I just bought ONE Stock in Sony, Nintendo, Microsoft, and yes even Apple

I was inspired by todays random stock buying threads to do something constructive so...

I just bought ONE stock in those companies and in one year from now I am going to sell them and tell each of you which one made the most percent return. I plan on doing this for the rest of my time here on system wars (thus I will do this again next year and so on and so on)

I think its something interesting to bring around system wars because 2010 looks to be one of the best gaming years yet (I know I can check the charts and technically wouldn't have to buy stocks to know, but I feel like conducting this experiment on own).

So noone cares? Screw! I thought this would bring something to talk about in system wars now and a year from now. I think this may also be the first thread I ever created, a fail on my part I supposeDiviniuz

I'll play with you TC. One year from now. I'll predict the order as:

Sony - hack & slash plan cuts costs, global recovery picks up, core businesses recover at least half way decently, % growth should be above average

MS - always a good bet, windows 7 does well, global recovery increases business investments in IT

Apple - riding high now, stock looks possibly overvalued to me today, so even with continued growth a strong % increase is going to be hard to sustain

Nintendo - gaming is their only business, and with no credible likelihood of WiiHD this year there is no reason to believe that they will do better than they are now, meaning the stock will continue to slide for most of the rest of the generation

Oh, you know I bought a stock in Apple too!
