I Like Xbox Live as much as the next guy but honestly....

They should do what the Lost Planet LE did. They gave you a special disc with gamer pics and themes for free.

I think every game should come with that content for free.

Im tired of being nickeled and dimed by Microsoft for things like themes and gamer pics, they should be free I Completely understand movies, bonus game content and tv shows having to be paid for, but why the hell do we have to pay for little pics and themes when we already pay $50/year for live? :(.

Honestly they dont cost that much but still....its the principle.

QFT. I also understand that xbla games, movies etc. must be paid for but paying for a dashboard theme? No thanks il just use a pic from my pc as a theme.

then why would you add "Go play on PSN if it's so much better" if no one even mentioned it? either that was a completely illogical post, or you were implying that the TC felt PSN was better. And about me taking my own advice...I dont understand. I am taking my advice. Im in a thread and im commenting about the subject matter. Now if i had gone to another thread and complained about the subject matter, then you would have a point, but seeing as this thread is about XBL payements and my post commented on it instead of insulting the TC....i think im in the right thread :?

All that you named is free on PSN which is one reason why i choose that service over LIVE..

xbox live is still the superior service.....cross game friends list, invites, chat, msn messenger, tons of demos and videos / movies it. can you even invite a friend from another game on the ps3?

Ok, and for free...lets see. We get friends list, invites, chat, messages, game demos, pictures, videos, themes every thursday. Yes, you can invite people on the PS3, just not if they're in a different game. But why would you? If my friend is playing another game, I will leave them alone, they obviously want to play that now, I'm not gonna drag them around and pepper them with invites that they don't want to join..lol

dude seriously. I HATE when people invite me to play a game when I am not playing that game. Its like they are saying, forget your stupid game and come play my stupid game. Its irritating. If I'm playing Gears, why the hell would I want to quit and play Halo 2? That is one thing I am glad PSN does not have.
