I lost weight playing Zelda WW on my Wii for the last week. !
Just couldn't stop long enough to eat big meals.
SMG & RE4 have now been opened and played so even less time for big meals.
On topic, I just don't see myself buying Wii Fit anytime soon if ever which is fine since my weight is fine for my height and age. :P
Interesting to hear it actually works. Looks like people will be spending their money well.Lionheart08
I call bluff. How long did you play per day and how many days have you been using it. 10 lb's is a lot to lose.
I think you lost BMI, not pounds.
But I don't think you lose muscle by using Wii Fit.

BMI is calculated based on your height and weight.. therefore a reduction in BMI can only indicate one thing.. a reduction in weight.. since Wii Fit can no way take away inches from your height. So if he lost points in his BMI he lost weight. :)
Grats for losing weight but honestly, did it take a video game to get you motivated enough to actually exercise? Got to do more then just move your butt, you gotta eat right too to keep it off. Good luck.
The only way I could see anybody losing weight from wii fit is if they were VERY lazy before they got the game. So any exercise at all would cause them to lose weight. Not saying this is the TC. Just saying that's the only people I see this working for.l-_-lExactly.
Bozon from IGN lost about 16 pounds too, in 12 days only. Kevin-V lost only about 3 pounds in 9 days though :( Eponique
Wow, those guys must be in horrible shape.

No, they probably are not, I did that to and all I had to do was stick my finger down my throat after I ate something.
I'm in good shape. I've been really focusing on the balance, especially in Yoga. I lost 4 pounds so far since it was released in the US. Lot of fun!
NOTE: The game does not call you 'fat'. It uses the BMI names, such as obese, overweight, etc. It's not hard to be obese. I was borderline obese the first week.
And that girl, if it was the same one, was a 200+ 12 or 14 year old girl I believe.

He has his own WiiFit blog, if you are interested. Kevin-V posts it in the editor's diary.
you could have gone to a gym and lost a lot more weightmistervengeance
And you could have spent money on gas, spend money on a monthly membership, work your schedule around the gym, deal with potential jerks, and not have as much fun as Wii-fit, and not have a cool bunch of mini games to play with the board, and not be able to buy other cool games like we-ski and enjoy them to the fullest, and not be able to automatically track the progress of weightloss, and not accurately measure and hone one's balance.
Is there a balance measurement in the gym? Do they also give yoga lessons all day any time of day?
And you know, no one said its to REPLACE the gym, or any other type of exercise. I think Nintendo allows you to do Wii-fit and whatever else you want...

The only way to lower your BMI is by losing pounds. BMI is your weight relative to your height. So unless he shrunk in height, he lost both.

why would you wanna lose muscle if anything it will tone them but not cause you to lose any.
tbh i think its sad that people need to an add on to a games console to motivate them to exercise.
wow what happened to good old fashioned exercise?
Id laugh if the game was just lying to you about how much you lost just to make you feel better xD
I'm a career skateboarder, I'm planning on buying this to get in shape and sharpen my balance skills.Boba_Fett_3710
hmmm i find it hard to believe wii fit would be better at building your balance on a skateboard.
surely time on the board build up your natural balance on the skateboard better than wii fit.
,... Chubby Santa doesn't mean what you think it means.Demetri_OS
