i need to pay to download DMC4!? WTH M$

i got a ps3 and 360... and i thought well ill just DL it on 360 because PS3 wont have it until later today

so i try to download it and it says i need to be a gold member? and silver will get it a few days later? OMG what a ripoff now i need to PAY for demos? :lol:

i remember i used to have to spend £7 a month on a magazine with a disk taped to the front to get demos, i havnt spent a penny on magazines since live introduced downloadable console demos. and if i want to download a pc demo of the internet i need to sign up for a premium service if i want to get a high speed and priority over the free users.

We don't pay for demos, just wait for 1 week and it will be over. Ps3 is the one who pays for demos....about 40 dolares for a grand turismo??? Lolfelipealcar

yep, you could have known. anyway. for 14 cents a day you get a great online service imo.

if it was free, it would be the same quality and quantity as PSN... i don't want that (although i have a pS3 and three accounts)

That's your argument? Prologue which offers several tracks, 16 cars, online play, etc... That's one hell of a demo. The fact is as an x360 owner you don't have the option to even play Gran Turismo, meanwhile I can still play Burnout and DMC4 day one on PSN for free.

It's disappointing how many people on X360 are standing up for MS, they are shafting the majority of users on X360, yet the minority of gold users are all for it. Why?? So they can feel better about their $50, so they get an ego trip. Pretty sad.

yeah but of those several tracks 1 was on the GT5p demo (the demo of a demo) and another is on the GTHD which sony took off PSN

It is a total rip. I don't even play games online, I only use the live service for demoes and such. No way I'm paying 40 quid ($80) for that privilege. Now I have to wait a week for demoes (it isn't a couple of days it's seven). I can't compare the online services of the 360 and PS3 cos I don't have a PS3, but paying for demoes on time is not on...

i didnt buy my 360 for "gamevideos, tv downloads, music, arcade games, xbox originals ect" i just bought it it play online. that was before i got my ps3
