It was pricey when it came out ;)
Not so much now.
Zenkuso
Uh huh.
So why is he comparing a rig which is priced by today's standards to the 360 when it was priced at launch?

Its system wars, not really hard to figure out what fanboys will do:roll:
[QUOTE="gamerking178"]I live in New Zealand.
The price of the Xbox360 American 1 year after Launch I belevie was $350-400?
So the PC is around $450-500 US.So yeah.

I live in NZ too. You're lying, btw.
Also, the premium 360 package is now $500. You did get ripped off.
Is NOW $500. Not then. NOW.
AND When The Xbox720/3 comes out, I'll buy a $250.00 GPU and you'll buy a $750 Console SUPER SAVING DEAL WITH 1 EXTRA CONTROLLER! OMFG.
So in long term a PC is alot cheaper, of course when you need anthor PCI-E Slot/CPU Slot you may need to replace the motherboard. And people stop calling me a fanboy I am using logic. Unless you want me to act like a fanboy and spam like mad?
[QUOTE="killerfist"][QUOTE="gamerking178"]Well I live in the Netherlands and over here a decent gaming rig is around 600euros (if you build one yourself) which is equal to 600$I live in New Zealand.

My 360 was 400 at launch
idk what to tell you, sucks to be a console gamer NZ I guess..
Thing is you dont need a decent gaming rig to compete with a 360, buy a $280 dell, put in a $80 graphics card, and viola, you have a PC with better graphics and better online than a 360.
Thing is Chances are its a Single Core CPU considering most games these days need 2-3 Cores to run smoothly. And you need a PCI-E/APG to support most morden GPU's so no.
Although:
Dual Core = $80.00
Power Supply/Case = $80.00
Motherboard = $100.00
GPU = Depends
HDD/RAM = $100-200.00
