I really feel bad for PS3 owners...

I just saw the score for the game called "Haze"... I laughed to myself because from what I can remember, all the PS3 fan-boys were saying "oMGz w4it unTil h4Z3 cOmeZz ouTz iT WilL rOcKZ urZ soCkzzz!"

I seriously just feel extremely bad for PS3 owners because just when they think that a good game is coming their way, it turns out to be yet ANOTHER fluke.

I wouldn't call myself a "fan-boy" of any kind because I've owned all previous consoles, ranging from Sega and Nintendo, to Sony and Xbox.

I just felt like saying this so maybe the Sony fan-boys stop to actually think before coming out with such ridiculous, baseless statements.

Guess I will just have to make do with MGS4 (great reviews so far), LBP (all sites love it), Killzone 2 (all sites like it GS, IGN ect), GT5 (prologue got 7.5, imagine what the FULL verison will get). Tekken 6, SOCM (both proved series), Final Fantasy, moterstorm 2 (now finally with split screen) and resistance 2 (60 player online, and a proved title, and made by the best Dev's ever, INSOMNIAC!!!!!, the R&C CREATOOOOORS!!!!)

If are judging all owners of the PS3 based on one game being bad, despite most people already knowing that it would not be great, then I think you are the one everyone should be pitying. Here, here is a dollar towards the "buy IAmLegend7 a book" fund, so he can learn to not be illiterate.

Oh yeah there was N4G, they did not seem impressed, but the first para suggested that they were fanboys and wanted the game to be bad.

GS though it was good, and IGN thought it was very impressive. and in SW those sites seem to be all that matter.

Alot of people are too afraid to go outside the box and try something new, the prod problem isn't problem because i'm pretty sure my little cusing dosn't know crap about such things and neither does his father, still the PS3 is the console he want's because his used to ps1+2.. and thats how alot of other people are.

Why do people keep saying that 60 players for resistance is a reason for it to be great. Look at COD or any other shooter (bar battlefield:P) and you'll see bigger =/= better. Or just play the first one..fenwickhotmail

Battlefield 2 had 48 and i hated it, it was a skill free frag fest for noobs.

Same with Wolfenstein:enemy territory, superb free game but with 48 players it sucked.

I think i've read that it'll be more squad based and you'll respawn close to the one that killed you, bt if they can't do that right and proberly it'll be like battlefield 2 and W:ET, a skill free frag fest for noobs.

- MGS4 graphics have been provne medicore

- LBP gameplay has been shown to be boring as nothing before it

- Haze has been provne a huge flop

- and Killzone 2 has been proven small and empty in visuals and a very standard game in gameplay

i hope PS3 people stop hyping games liek those, and focus on real games like FF13 for exmaple

The 360 rrod problem aint the reason for them not to get it because they arent even aware of it.

And that's the reason why alot of people are getting a ps3, they've always been used to it and aint about going to try something "new" or different.

atleast Lost odyssey deserve more then 7.5 (: It's no Final Fantasy killer, FF7 is my favorite and nothing can kill that one hah, anyways - LO deserve 8.5.

Lost Odyssey is the best current gen JRPG but that not saying much at all considering the PS3 has none releasd yet (no Folkore is not a true RPG). This gen so far for JRPG's is horrible even though they will be epic Sony's JRPG's are taking a long to develop (WKC, FF XIIII, FF XIII: VS) or aren't out here yet (Disgaea 3, Valkyrie Chronicles).

The 360 has a couple decent ones Lost Odyssey and Eternal Sonata but they're not special following no new formula whatsoever. Infinite Undiscovery will be the test for me because TOV will be just like all the others.

That's brand loyalty for you. But that kind of loyalty is built on credibility. The fact is, Sony won out last gen and the gen before so, in their minds, they are backing a winner. MS realy hasn't done themselves any favours by discontinuing the Xbox as quickly as they did, even though it was an impossible decision since continuing it would have lost them a lot of funds, but even now, MS hasn't helped themselves this generation with the RROD situation. Some people may say that it is old news, but it still happens and it the damage to it's credibility will only be realised next gen.

Yeah brand loyality, but it's not because they are like backing them up as a winner, they just choose it because that's what they've been used to and there's no real reason to that, and in this particular example he would enjoy a nintendo wii 1000 more times then a ps3 + it's almost half price (In Denmark, where i live)

anyways people are being too afraid of trying something different (we are always afraid of "going out of the box" and try something new or different) and just plain stupid, i'm not telling them to go buy a nintendo or xbox instead of the ps3, but people just have a negative feeling towards the xbox 360 FOR NO REASON (i used too aswell, along with all of my friends, we hated the original),

please understand that it's not everyone who knows about the rrod situation.

So Sony actually leading the console sales over microsoft is for me no wonder, people are free to discuss this but neiter consoles are bad because they sell less then the other.

The 360 rrod problem aint the reason for them not to get it because they arent even aware of it.

And that's the reason why alot of people are getting a ps3, they've always been used to it and aint about going to try something "new" or different.

That's brand loyalty for you. But that kind of loyalty is built on credibility. The fact is, Sony won out last gen and the gen before so, in their minds, they are backing a winner. MS realy hasn't done themselves any favours by discontinuing the Xbox as quickly as they did, even though it was an impossible decision since continuing it would have lost them a lot of funds, but even now, MS hasn't helped themselves this generation with the RROD situation. Some people may say that it is old news, but it still happens and it the damage to it's credibility will only be realised next gen.

anyways people are being too afraid of trying something different (we are always afraid of "going out of the box" and try something new or different) and just plain stupid, i'm not telling them to go buy a nintendo or xbox instead of the ps3, but people just have a negative feeling towards the xbox 360 FOR NO REASON (i used too aswell, along with all of my friends, we hated the original),

please understand that it's not everyone who knows about the rrod situation.

So Sony actually leading the console sales over microsoft is for me no wonder, people are free to discuss this but neiter consoles are bad because they sell less then the other.

Well, if you had very little knowledge of console wars, just wanted a games console. You had the Playsation 1 and the Playstation 2, you know Microsoft failed last generation to make a dent, the Playstation 2 is still selling well and Nintendo hasn't won a console war in a while, then surely getting a PS3 would be the logical solution for you. As for your cousin's dad, it's proven that, generally, the older you get, the more resistant to change you become.

- MGS4 graphics have been provne medicore

- LBP gameplay has been shown to be boring as nothing before it

- Haze has been provne a huge flop

- and Killzone 2 has been proven small and empty in visuals and a very standard game in gameplay

i hope PS3 people stop hyping games liek those, and focus on real games like FF13 for exmaple

The "PS3 has no games!" argument is getting old. I hate to say this to you , but PS3 does have games! *GASP* Shock horror!! It may not have a library as good as the 360, but its very far from having "No games".

No need to feel bad for ps3 owners we have MGS4 coming out in little to 3 weeks.

Well, as a 360 and PS3 owner, I am getting rather sick and tired of hearing all of these folks who do not even own a PS3 continue to beat the "PS3 has no games" dead horse, as it is complete BS. And it has been spun into overkill to the point of being beyond ridiculous.

Games like Uncharted, Heavenly Sword, Warhawk, Ratchet and Clank Future, and Resistance were all good exclusives. Add to all of the multiplats that it shares with the 360 with games like COD 4, GTAIV, ect and your argument crumbles altogether. Furthermore, we all know that games like MGS4 are right around the corner as well. So, you might as well stop lying to yourself, as you are not fooling anyone else.

I know I don't speak for every PS3 owner out there, but there are MANY like NinjaMunkey who are blinded dumb believing that the PS3 is the best console. I should have never made this topic... now I just feel even worse for all of you who wasted your hard earned money on this console :?

First off guy, I don't need your sorrow or pitty. I really have no clue why fanboys try to convince other fanboys that "their" console is the best. I mean who really cares? As long are you happy with what you have, then what does it matter if some 38 year old fat slob in his moms basement with ketchup stains on his shirt he hasn't changed this week, says your console was a waste of money? I own a ps3 only but i have nothing against xbox or wii, if you enjoy them, then by all means, enjoy. But some people in the SW act like it's a life or death matter. Like i said, I enjoy my system (ps3) but if i had a 360 or wii, i'm sure i would enjoy that as well. I just wonder what these DIE HARD SYSTEM FANBOYS act like in real life.

Guess I will just have to make do with MGS4 (great reviews so far), LBP (all sites love it), Killzone 2 (all sites like it GS, IGN ect), GT5 (prologue got 7.5, imagine what the FULL verison will get). Tekken 6, SOCM (both proved series), Final Fantasy, moterstorm 2 (now finally with split screen) and resistance 2 (60 player online, and a proved title, and made by the best Dev's ever, INSOMNIAC!!!!!, the R&C CREATOOOOORS!!!!)

you should feel sorry for me. how am I going to afford all those games! :cry:

I feel bad for anyone who thinks a Haze score has anything to do with the PS3 itself. I mean, how misinformed is that?

You don't think Bioshock, Gears, and Mass Effect aren't playable on the PS3? Do you really think PS3 doesn't have the blockbuster games? :lol: Keep telling yourself that and sooner or later you'll start to believe it.

Furthermore, I don't remember many, if any, PS3 owners saying HAze would rock your socks off. In fact, most were very wary on the game seeing how it hadn't showed much in pre-release videos to get anyone really excited. So stop twisting reality.

I'll say it again, because most of you here in SW won't get it. For the most part, most game scores have NOTHING to do with the console its on. If you think Haze on 360 would have scored higher, you are a fool.
