I really feel bad for PS3 owners...

I just saw the score for the game called "Haze"... I laughed to myself because from what I can remember, all the PS3 fan-boys were saying "oMGz w4it unTil h4Z3 cOmeZz ouTz iT WilL rOcKZ urZ soCkzzz!"

I seriously just feel extremely bad for PS3 owners because just when they think that a good game is coming their way, it turns out to be yet ANOTHER fluke.

I wouldn't call myself a "fan-boy" of any kind because I've owned all previous consoles, ranging from Sega and Nintendo, to Sony and Xbox.

I just felt like saying this so maybe the Sony fan-boys stop to actually think before coming out with such ridiculous, baseless statements.

Everyone with half a brain has known Haze will suck for the last 6 months. And I think my Ps3 is very nice thank you very much, no need to feel sorry.

So gamespot gave me a point loss for making fun of a user on the forum, yet I never went as far as to call someone in here any kind of name.

And when did I say that ps3 had NO good games?! If you can find it then please quote me and prove me wrong.

I know MGS4 is going to be an awesome game, because as most of you (smart) people know, I think everyone in here owned a ps2 last gen. and got to experience the MGS series.... I've played all of the metal gear games, so those who come on here and call me a fanboy are just extremely immature and don't bother to get the facts straight first.

Also, I never did say that the xbox 360 was the superior console... anyone care to prove me wrong on that one, too?

Oh wait, you can't because I know for a fact that I didn't say that.

I'll keep checking back just to see if someone actually posts an intelligent message, however, I won't get my hopes high for that to happen.

Guess I will just have to make do with MGS4 (great reviews so far), LBP (all sites love it), Killzone 2 (all sites like it GS, IGN ect), GT5 (prologue got 7.5, imagine what the FULL verison will get). Tekken 6, SOCM (both proved series), Final Fantasy, moterstorm 2 (now finally with split screen) and resistance 2 (60 player online, and a proved title, and made by the best Dev's ever, INSOMNIAC!!!!!, the R&C CREATOOOOORS!!!!)

you should feel sorry for me. how am I going to afford all those games! :cry:

Obviously, not all PS3 fans were doing that, because I never said Haze was going to rock. I said it had potential, and it did. Free Radicial just didnt execute.

Why would you feel bad. You DO realize that PS3 owners are perfectly happy with their console, right? They are happy having BR playback, a console that won't fail, many great multiplats and some great exlcusives (GS scores aside), free online, standard HDD/wireless controlers/wifi, etc.

And we haven't even had any of our "heavy hitters' come out yet. The first will be MGS4, followed by resistance 2, Killzone 2, then once the new Ico game comes out, God of War 3, Twisted Metal, Final Fantasy, etc come out...everything will feel back to normal.

The only game I'm "hyped" for at the moment is MGS4. I wasn't interested in HAZE, because I'm kind of tired of all the FPS's out there.Terami

I'm still not convinced that anyone was really that interested in Haze. I STILL believe that way more threads about Haze were made by lemmings, with titles like "What's so great about HAze" and "Why all the hype for Haze" than actual hype threads made by cows.

the minute i saw that Haze was going to be a PS3 exclusive i spot looking at it... it was dead there.

BTW

Everything that Haze got dinged for in its review score is something that Halo 3 should also have been dinged for, an yet Halo3 got a 9.5?!?!?!?!

The Bad

Abysmal storytelling and voice acting squander the interesting premise (Halo has always had a sucky story with lame voice acting)

Stupid artificial "intelligence" (Halo AI was laughable thru the whole series. Dumb marines, covnant, flood, whatever)

Multiplayer is uninspiring and unbalanced. (Halo 3's multiplayer was rehash and unbalanced. Every match was a race for the sniper/sword. LAME)

teh CONCLUSION:

Either bring Haze's score up to Halo's level, or go back and drop Halo from it's "AAA " status

not all of sys can have Blue Dragon, Mass Efect, Lost Odessy, Lost Planet the amazing graphic-wise Halo3 or the stunning Red Ring of Death, not the mention the AA bateries you spend on the controller, i envy not having stuff like that on the PS3...

As a PS3 owner I am so happy to hear this from you. Haze was my most anticipated game of the year, and now... its all over... my life is no more... its all coming to an end...

But seriously... WTF? It was one hardly even hyped game to begin with, what kind of scores were you expecting from Haze? And its not like PS3 owners dont have other games coming out shortly.

And now their only attack against the other consoles is

Insomiac, best ever?

Insomiac is good, but most of their games are only in the mid AA range, which is good, no doubt... But they aren't Super Mario Galaxy, BioShock, Half Life 2 quality... They are more like No More Heroes, Zack and Wiki, Dead Rising quality. Which isn't bad. It's just they don't pump out the killer apps the PS3 needs. Let's hope Resistance 2 changes this.

True, but it LOSES every month in the U.S.

PLUS, Sony is an established company in Japan and Europe, the two other big gaming markets. Microsoft has found it's niche in America, but still hasn't been able to sell consistantly in Japan and Europe

P.S. That doesn't mean I hate the PS3. I plan on getting one soon.
