I really regret buying a PS3 yesterday...

I bought a PS3 yesterday with Resistance, Motorstorm, and Spider-man 3. Like I said, I would, but I am very disappointed! The controlls suck! It's too small and it copied the 360's center button. Not only that, but It's the exact same thing as the PS2 controller, just wireless and center button. Not only that, I played my three games, and you guys are like, "OMG! Best graphics ever!" The graphics are worse than anything on the 360 this year. About the blu-ray, pointless except I did watch both Pirates films but it is not better than HD, it's the exact same! Last and the worst-the syste is too big. It can't fit in my entertainment center. Did Sony not learn why they made the PS2 smaller?

After 10 hours of pointless gaming, I regret buying the system...but I'm going to keep it for MGS4 only.

I too have regretted owning a PS3 since Launch....you think you've got it bad? Yesh, months upon months of anticipation for games only to have them be delayed or be total crap (i.e. Motorstorm). At least you've only had to put up with it for one day. Terrible and pointless updates, useless PSN adds (more trailers for movies than anything that has to do with gaming), I freaking hate the PS3.

I play my 360 right now and that's it. Sony's system is black and does make the dust more evident which is kind of embarrassing, but meh. Anyways, I agree that the system may be worth it for MGS4, but Lair, NG:Sigma, Heavenly Sword, Folklore, Ratchet, Uncharted and HOME may all give you a reason to care about the Potentialstation 3 sooner than you may think.

Errr, Sony didn't copy the home button...they got it from the PSP...aswell as the similar interface. you obviously don't even own a PS3.this thread FLOPS!

tax is diff depending where you live. example like ny has special tax on any clothing purchase that are $100 or more.

i live in the west coast. the cost of games i usually get with tax on $59.99 games ends up being $63-64. i bought my ps3 and with tax it came out $650.

$53 x 3 = $159

$650 + $159 = $839 (almost $900)

anyways if TC really bought a ps3 he should return it for full refund if he isnt happy with the purchase. only ones you might not get a refund are the games if you ended up opening the seal. guess you have to sell it on ebay or trade it in at a gamestore. also i agree this should of been a blog.

As for the PS3, don't be hard on it now. When they tried to change the controller, people wanted to stick with the dualshock. I like the dualshock style of controller a lot. As for the games, there are some out there that a lot of people like, and there are a lot of games out there soon that a lot of people want. If this system really isn't for you, then that's your call.

1) The film is not better than HD? I don't understand. Did the Pirates movie come out on HD-DVD??? I don't think so. Or did you mean it's not better than high definition, which of course, it shouldn't be, because it IS HIGH DEFINITION. Your comment makes absolutely no sense at all.

2) The system isn't much bigger than your xbox360, so I'm surprised you were able to fit your 360 in your entertainment center.
