I really regret buying a PS3 yesterday...

My friend bought a 60gb PS3 with two wireless controllers, 3 games (Resistance, some basketball game, and some other game) for $500! He bought it from a friend that didn't play it anymore. Now my friend is telling me he's also begining to not play with the PS3. He's less than a casual gamer and really thought that the PS3 was better, he learned the hard way. I think he regrets buying it even if he got those 3 games with two controllers. If he decides to sell it to me for $500 or less, I might just have to buy it so I can watch blu-ray movies.

I have both systems. And well the ps3 as a gaming console right now sucks. But as a blu ray player awesome. I have 11 bluray movies and one game. If I had to buy it again I would. I feel sorry for all the sony fanboys who bash the 360 they're missing out on a great gaming platform.

Not only that, but It's the exact same thing as the PS2 controller, just wireless and center button. Not only that, I played my three games, and you guys are like, "OMG! Best graphics ever!" The graphics are worse than anything on the 360 this year. About the blu-ray, pointless except I did watch both Pirates films but it is not better than HD, it's the exact same! Last and the worst-the syste is too big. It can't fit in my entertainment center. Did Sony not learn why they made the PS2 smaller?

After 10 hours of pointless gaming, I regret buying the system...but I'm going to keep it for MGS4 only.

Ya, it seems like most of the worlds video gameenthusiast are feeling the same way you are. That's why the PS3 sales are in last place, with the Wii and 360 smokin' it in sales.

Over priced, with a very disappointing gaming line up, and not too much in the near future to be happy with either. Might be worth it to pick it up when the console is half priced, which will still be expensive, and it gets some decent games. But as of now, one big dissappointment, and it's pathetic sales numbers only clarify this to be true.

1) The film is not better than HD? I don't understand. Did the Pirates movie come out on HD-DVD??? I don't think so. Or did you mean it's not better than high definition, which of course, it shouldn't be, because it IS HIGH DEFINITION. Your comment makes absolutely no sense at all.

I never bought a PS1 or PS2 because of this... There was only 5 or so games on each one that I wanted.

Atari, Colecovision,NES, Genesis, Xbox, 360... Where ever there is gaps I was PC gaming.

I was going to build a SNES collection. But when I moved I lost half my systems and lots of games. So I said screw it for now. Some day I plan on rebuilding. But my 360 keeps me bound to it.

It copied the Xbox 360 center button so now i hate it for life :cry:

I can't believe the controller comment. The 360 controller, is wack in design. At least the PS controllers fit in ur hand were every button is easy to reach. Xbox controllers have those dreaded silver and black buttons always oddly placed and such.caseypayne69

Absolutely no way TC was telling the truth. There's no one who blows 900 on an impulse buy and regrets it 24 hours later. If you have the kind of money to make an impulse buy of this cost...you have enough money that you don't really care if you regret it later.

TC is either lieing or really, really dense for spending 900 dollars without doing any thinking about it first. And anyone who thinks about it first would have known every thing legitimate that he complained about within .. oh, 5 minutes, of looking into the system.

Does it really matter? It is just one man opinion even if he is telling the truth. I am sure there are similiar stories for the Wii and 360. I am not completely satisfied with my purchase (PS3) but I have patience and think the future will be better.
